    Mother's CMX CERAMIC SPRAY COATING

Wow this replicates my results! Looks great and feels great, amazing water behavior the first and second rainstorms, than compared to PNS, no tight beads and not hydrophobic. I'm hoping Forrest from Mothers can chime in, or I may even call Mothers and see what the issue might be. It does seem...

    Reload on textured plastic

I haven't personally used reload, I've never read about issues on trim. In general when using non trim products, apply product to an applicator/MF towel, apply to trim and immediately wipe. I use a lot 845, PNS, BSD, UQW and CMX same way with no I'll effects. I dont use any actual dedicated...

    Ceramic coating for city dwellers

Wondering how city dwellers deal with a ceramic coating? I mean actual city folks, not living in outlying suburbs. My main concern is the minor scrapes and dings I incur from the inconsiderate drivers. Park far away? Someone will try to be funny and park squeezing you in. Parking on the street...

Video: 10-month ceramic coating update! + Chemical torture test!

Wait you maintain with Carpro Eraser? I thought Eraser is the pre coating prep wipe? Perhaps a typo? How many miles on car since applied? Is the car garaged? Driven through snow or salt? How many times was another non washing product applied?

    best rinseless wash for winter?

Wow that sucks! Have you tried reducing amount of Ech2o in your mix? The first time I made a solution, it streaked, I diluted more and has been fine since. My favorite rinseless wash! Leaves behind insane gloss too and some protection that lasts a rainfall or so.

    best rinseless wash for winter?

I'm not sure where you live, without a garage a trick I used was doing a waterless wash in a retail garage. I would do a touchless drive through wash. Then drive to businseses that had enclosed warmer garages, like a mall, movie theater, home depot etc etc. I would park in an isolated...

    Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax

I personally would like UK do its thing and perhaps mix Reload and Ech2o, use that. Why mask the abilities of your coating with a lesser product? Otherwise instead of the coating use HCW every 3 to 6 months.

HD Speed still a great product

I actually used the Mckees Pad cleaner with good luck, only used once. I always forgot I have a whole bottle. McKee's 37 Polishing Pad Cleaner For your dual action or rotary polisher. What I tend to do is once done detailing, rinse pads in water thoroughly. If stained or have residue, make a...

Remove white staining (sunscreen lotion??) from black leather and trim

That could be sunscreen, makeup or lotion. I've previously used Megs Ultimate Quik Interior detailer to remove fresh sunscreen from letter seats. I've had success with Blackfire APC removing it from textured dash. I had a soft bristled brush I brushed with and wiped off. Mind you was not older...

HD Speed still a great product

Wow thanks for the update Eldorado. The more I've read and researched, it seems the AIOs are good for detailers offering a 1 step package. To spruce up a customers car, who will not pay for a 2 step or complete correction. For my friends and family cars, it may be easier to use Boss Correcting...

Wait, WHAT? What do you NOT like about your polisher??

I did, I don't detail professionally so only needed (yes right needed) one machine. I had a "reputable body guy" do a crap job on my car. The PC was taking forever and wearing me out. I was worried about the stalling, but I never had the G21 stall. The PC would stall when pushed hard on...
