What happend to my nano skin?

Just to clarify, I was asking because it is normal on first use. The sponge should be broken in on glass first to remove the coating.

    Is this the first use?

When to clean door jambs? Interior APC or Exterior ONR?

APC if it's real dirty. ONR or waterless wash for maintenance.

What wash to use after using HydrO2

Finish what you have. It will not harm it but I prefer to use washes without any waxes. Car Pro Reset is perfect for Hydro 2.

Took my wheels to the local tire shop

My younger cousin(first car) recently had his wheels damaged by the tire shop when they swapped his tires. The owner came out to have a look at them and agreed it was unacceptable. He sent the wheels away and had them refinished no questions asked.

    Clay vs nanoskin

I clean it as often as I'd kneed clay. Often once per panel. Just dunk it in my clean wash bucket or spray it off. I still use clay in certain areas but I HATE trying to hang onto it. Most of my energy seems to be focused on not dropping it. Lol.

is there any spray bottle that doesn't leak?

Yep, I have the grey Tolcos as well. Awesome. Only beef is you can't shut them completely off. All the way "closed" is super fine mist. I've replaced all my sprayers with them. I toss most of the ones that come with my products. The only other sprayer I use is a foaming one for certain products.

    Spray sealants?

Sonax what? If it's PNS it needs to be removed immediately. I've heard complaints from numerous people but it's been due to miss use.

    Spray sealants?

Probably Opti Seal or Sonax Polymer Netshield. Brilliant Shine Detailer shouldn't even be called a detail spray considering how long the protection lasts... especially since Chemical Guys labels V7 as a "sealant". Almost laughable when compared to the BSD. I demoted the V7 to doing jambs a...

    Microfiber towels from Canadian tire?

99% of the towels you find there will be considered "general purpose" on any detailing supply site. Depends what you use them for. I use them for dirty work just fine but never for finishing work. Your question is very broad. It's like asking if Autogeek sells better wax than Canadian Tire...

    Next interior cleaner?

I'm a little picky with interior stuff because most APCs smell pretty gross. I've used Poorboys and Optimum but didn't like them for interiors. Now I use 1Z Blitz or Sonax Dashboard Cleaner because they both smell fresh and clean as well as I need them to.

    Any Audiophiles Here?

Oooooh! Now we're talking! Seas Reference looks gorgeous and SIS(I guess just Bing at the time) does great work! I had seas Excel in my old car. Bet yours sounds awesome. Really nice setup.

    Menzerna FG400 or Meguiars 105?

I find M105 does what it's supposed to very well but it's more difficult to work with. It seems to start to dry out quickly so I always give it a spritz of something part way through the cycle. It dusts quite a lot as well. On the other hand it cuts very well and finishes down very nicely...

    Any Audiophiles Here?

May I ask what kind of experience you have with sound quality installations in cars? I don't mean old school radio, eq, amps and speakers. I mean DSPs, custom speaker placement, time alignment, individual driver EQ, etc. I agree that cars are virtually the worst environment for audio imaginable...

My PC is great with 3" pads but I would love a Rupes Mini. I have the Duetto and it's great!

How to polish B-Pillar trim without a DA

My Audi and my lady's Mini both have pillars like that. They scratch very easily. I've experienced this with other cars as well. The good thing is they can be corrected very easily as well... although I've never tried by hand. Haha.

opinions wanted: Hydrotech tangerine vs. "traditional" LC orange

Cyan will cut waaaay more than an orange CCS in my experience. They do break up after heavy use but I think it's worth it. They finish very well for the level of cut they provide. Oh, and I originally bought the thick version. They got obliterated pretty quickly on my PC. The slim pads last...

What do you do when you drop a microfiber in the ground?

I think you're looking for the "tell us how much money you make for no reason thread." OP just asked what you do when you drop a towel. I still can't tell from your original post what you actually do with it... keep scrubbing away or toss it? I just wash em.
