New to Paint Correction - Help!

Thank you! I really appreciate your feedback and detailed response!! Since I probably have a few weeks or so until I get started on the Camaro, I think i am going to just take my time on deciding what products to use. As far as the level of perfectness on the polishing- i definitely want to do...

New to Paint Correction - Help!

Thanks! Your Camaro looks amazing! I am not crazy worried about the polishing, just think I get a bit too caught up in the weeds. I think a part of it is that I get too analytical on things. Too much research, too much time spent trying to chase the unicorn products when in reality I realize...

New to Paint Correction - Help!

Thanks! Yea I definitely was not planning on using the BF one step on the Camaro that I am going to coat. Honestly I wanted the G9 with the 5.5" backing plate conversion, and there was a kit that had that on AG and it included the BF one step so i figure it would be good product to practice...

New to Paint Correction - Help!

Hi! Apologies in advance for the long post! So many questions! I have what I think is a pretty good understanding of car paint care/maintenance (washing, clay bar, etc). Have been wanting to get into paint correction though. I just purchased this kit and am really hoping to get into some light...

CarPro Perl on Interior Trim Issues

Yea I think I might have put it on too heavy too. I wonder if going back with a dry microfiber to pick up any excess after initially applying would help.

CarPro Perl on Interior Trim Issues

I don't have to use the P&S cleaner every time though right? I can just use a dry microfiber to get the dust off and apply another coat of PERL to try to "fix" it? this time spraying it on a microfiber and then on the trim.

CarPro Perl on Interior Trim Issues

Too bad as really I was just testing on my wife's equinox so i can put it on my camaro lol. I might try the damp towl and reapply. I dont really want to go 1:1 as that would increase the gloss right? This stuff is already borderline too much gloss for me at 1:5. I like a more natural look...

CarPro Perl on Interior Trim Issues

Thanks. I will give it a try. I used P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner. Followed the instructions and went over it with a damp microfiber. waited for the trim to completely dry. saw a lot of people had good luck with PERL so not sure what my issue is.

CarPro Perl on Interior Trim Issues

Thanks! Long time lurker, and bought quite a bit of stuff from the site over the years. I think the instructions on the CarPro Perl said to spray on the panel, but this is good to know. If the interior is just dusty, can i wipe it down with a dry microfiber, and then apply another coat to try...

CarPro Perl on Interior Trim Issues

Hi, I used CarPro Perl for the first time last week on my wife's Equinox on plastic trim, dash, etc. I used a cleaner first, and followed the instructions for that product. I think I am having some issues with the Perl though.. It is somewhat uneven, or streaking, and doesnt look super...
