    looking for red microfiber towels

I use red towels for grunge work, like on wheels and tires. I recommend that you do not purchase shop towels. I bought them to just clean up messes and grease from wheels, etc, but the red dye bleeds and they leave behind lint (Amazon.com - Utopia Cotton Auto Shop Towels - 100 Pack (Red)). I...

    Generator output?

6K and I like it a lot. There is no mess on the ground when washing a car. I do not get wet using steam, which is a big plus. The steam is hot, so I need to wear gloves so I do not burn myself (it hurts). So far, the maintenance seems easy. It is fuel efficient. It does wonders on the...

What do mobile detailers do in the winter?

The temperature has to be in the low 40s during the day, with little wind, for me to take any detailing job. When it is too cold to work, I use that time to catch up on business-related activities (i.e., bookwork, marketing, etc). I store my cleaning agents, polishes, waxes, and so on inside...

    Steam cleaner and or extractors

I use steam about 99% of the time because it does a great job and the surface areas dry very quickly. I also have a Mytee HP 60 hot water extractor, but rarely use it. The Mytee does a great job at cleaning and has great water lift. My main concern about the Mytee is that, with all of my other...

    Generator output?

I have had the Mytee HP60 and the Optima Steamer both running at the same time without any problems. You are right though in that you will need to look at the watts for both your hot water extractor and the steamer (especially of your steamer if fully electric).

    Generator output?

For my mobile operation, I purchased the Honda EU3000 Handi (Honda EU3000i Handi Super Quiet Generator? 3000 Watt Inverter Generator). I am very satisfied. The generator is very quiet. It is also light weight and has a handle, making it easy to lift and move around. I have not had any...

Tree sap!!! How to remove it?!?!

It you have a steamer, try it. There was sap on the hood of a car I detailed yesterday and I used steam. One dropping of sap was newer than the other and the steam removed it right away. The other dropping was older and it took a little more time.
