Shopping for Next Car - Best Choices, Recommendations & Expereinces???

I have a SRT Grand Cherokee, and I live near Rochester (fingerlakes area). It handles our winters quite well, but unless you're comparing it to a funny car; saying it gets "ok gas mileage" is a big stretch. I don't mind it, and I knew how it was before I bought it. If you want even decent fuel...

    Foamaster Foam Cleaning Gun Review

It looks like the Tornador Air Foamer kicks out the shaving cream like foam, but I'll stick with my Foamaster.

    Foamaster Foam Cleaning Gun Review

Nice review! I also am a big fan of the Foamaster gun. Does anyone know where we could purchase extra bottles? I've seen some people have them in there detail write-ups. The fill an extra bottle or two, for when the first one runs out...

    You know whats good?

I still don't quite understand how it's made, but fried ice-cream is good. (As long as they don't use the same fryer that they made chicken wings in)

High end products vs. economical ones???

Some of the higher end products are completely worth the extra money (P21S Wheel Gel comes to mind), and some have such a small difference that most people wouldn't be able to notice the difference. If you would narrow it down to specific products, than it might be a little easier question to...

    New Microfiber Towels

I was thinking about trying that. It just seems like its kind of a hassle to have to soak a towel before you can use it. But atleast the towels aren't going to waste if that works...

    5.5"pad

If you know anyone with an engine lathe, it would be easy to turn it down to size. Theres easier ways, but this way it would be completely concentric.

Thanks for clearing that up. I've been using "warm", but next time I will try "hot"

Microfiber Drying Towels - Best and Boiling Towels

Is the idea behind boiling towels to "melt" the dried on product, so it will come out of the towel? I see some people recommend using cool water to wash MF, but others say to boil them... Can anyone shed some light on this? Or does it not even really matter?

Microfiber Drying Towels - Best and Boiling Towels

I think the guzzler and guzzler HD are both awesome drying towels. The blue WW towels have yet to impress me. Maybe after a couple washes they might absorb a little better. I don't know about boiling the towels, but I know that the microfiber cleaners sold here work very well in the washing...

Quick detailers, what are the favorites and why?

So if your car is dusty, do you do a full out wash and dry? Or do you just leave it untill it's time to wash it?

Quick detailers, what are the favorites and why?

There are so many awesome QDs from Autogeek... So far I have tried FK425, DP Final Gloss, XMT Final Finish, OID, Poorboys SG & SW, Wolfgang Detail Spritz, and I've been using Griots Speed Shine. Not one disapointing purchase out of all of them. None have harmed my finish (although that would be...

The One Product You Couldn't Detail Without

Thats a tough question. I've purchased ALOT from AG in the last few months. So I have several brands of each product (qd, shampoo, wash media, wheel cleaner), but for the sake of conversation I would say Cobra WW (including the WW window towel)

    Would you buy it?

If Yankee Candle made a "car jar" in Griots speed shine, Griots spray wax, Fusion, or XMT gel shampoo I would buy them all. Body wash...? I don't know about that. Besides, could you imagine trying to rinse off a shampoo that was carnuba based?
