Next time don't prime it with the XMT, just use the product to prime. Try just putting the big X, spread it onto the pad, and then polish out the section. After that first section you won't need much product at all (3 pea size drops should do). SSR's almost never dust on me.

I believe the new versions have more cut. They are supposed to be very similar to the hyper compound spray and hyper polish spray. Not totally sure though

Some Meguiars APC+ or Optimum Power Clean would be good to add. Trim protectant and glass cleaner too. Sent from my Samsung Epic

Should get the 5" kit. The kit should take out some pretty heavy defects, but it wouldn't hurt to have a rotary.

Flex was easier to learn to use then the pc. Of course I started using the pc before 5.5inch pads were popular and marking the backing plate was recommended. But still the flex is easy. Sent from my Samsung Epic
