Mini-Detail: 2005 Dodge Ram (AW Review)

AW is a great product, and as you mentioned, leave a slick finish too. I would not reccomend using it in full sun if you own a black vehicle however. I've made that mistake, and in certain angles, you will see streaking. Great job on the Ram! Good to see that a finish can be produced so quickly.

    Non-Reflective Dash Finish

Duragloss has a silicone free leather/vinyl treatment which is really nice! Semi-matt surface with very even looking finish.

    Ive gone to far!!

I buffed our marble vanity in the bathroom with Klasse AIO and topped it off with SG using the PC and a black glazing pad. Water beads great and my wife complained that it might actually be too slippery! :awesome:

    Duragloss Time!

Thanks for the kind words! Actually I was referring to the 321. I find this to be really top in the cockpit, but have not used it on tires as of yet. A satin sheen on dashboards and the leather seats. Not greasy, but enough shine to show that it has been detailed.

    My 2002 Dodge Ram

After using the CCP, I didn't think the AW was necessary, where as the QD spray has an ultra slick finish to it, which BTW, the CCP does not have. I've tried the paste wax from DG, and it has been relegated to the back of the shelf. It is too difficult to apply and get a streak-free finish...

    My 2002 Dodge Ram

Here is the MB I posted the pictures in the DuraGloss thread too, because I used the DG Clear Coat Polish as well as the leather treatment. Also de-badged the deck lid while I was at it. I ommited the AIO this time, and used the CCP from DG after the Finishing Glaze from Menzerna. Afterwords...

    Duragloss Time!

Sun came out for a few minutes Here are the pics of my MB. Inside was cleaned with DuraGloss Non-Silicone Leather dressing. While I was at it, I de-badged the deck lid as well. It's a SLK 230.

    Duragloss Time!

I just got done with my black MB SLK. I first washed with DuraGloss 901 and then clayed. Then using my PC, I applied Menzerna Intensive Polish with an orange pad from Classic Motors. Then Menzerna Final Polish 2 with the green pad, again from Classic Motors (I bought the kit for German Paint)...

    My 2002 Dodge Ram

Thanks P1et. They are Falken and the model is Koblenz. They come in either full chrome, or "machined" which are the ones I have. I had MB center caps made (seen on the first pic of the car) to complete the look.

    My 2002 Dodge Ram

Thanks to all, the work continues... Thanks again all for the kind words and helpful information. I'm going to invest in the FMJ from Menzerna to see if there is a difference between that and the AIO from Klasse. I think I'll also go for a carnauba wax as a topper to see if that adds to the...

Does that mean I could have (should have) used the Sealent Glaze in leiu of the AIO?

    My 2002 Dodge Ram

According to Menzerna, the Finishing glaze is to be applied AFTER the final polish, but BEFORE the Menzerna FMJ, which is also a sealent, similar to AIO or not? I assumed it was. After that, the Klasse SG was used. I was going to buy the FMJ from Menzerna, but since I had Klasse AIO remaining, I...

    My 2002 Dodge Ram

Thanks for the kind words....why the Finishing Glaze before the Klasse? I honestly don't know. When reading the Menzerna application guide, this is the order they reccomend, something about the finishing glaze acting like "make-up" for the paint....whatever works. The Klasse SG was difficult to...

    My 2002 Dodge Ram

I practiced on my wifes Silver Honda CR-V ( 1998 ). I could see the results, but they are not as spectacular (and obvious) as on a black finish. Next up is my black 2001 MB SLK. Paint is still in fantastic shape, with only some micro marring to be seen in the direct sun reflection, so I'll do a...
