I forgot to mention that I do have a powerstick that I can use to reach/wash the rim if I could just find a chemical that would loosen it up.

Great job and car. It's a shame that body style didn't sell better than it did. It is a rare find in my area even though every bimmer, porsche, benz etc is a dime a dozen.

Basically you want a thin amount something on the pad, be it spray or the actual polish, before you buff full speed. You do not want to "dry buff" the paint.
