    Was my post deleted?

I complained about the political trash that was brought into the thread. It wasn't appropriate and didn't help the subject matter any.

    Was my post deleted?

I enjoyed the bio chat as well as my cousin was doing it for a while. Referring to the President as the Antichrist however I reported. I'll take the blame for that but that should've been a simple post delete.

chemical guys water spot remover after treatment

Yes it did. I had some really bad spotting to remove from wheels and lower panels. Took a bit of agitation but the panels came out perfect. Used on glass that wasn't as bad with good results as well.

    Are my foam pads toast?

So even though a pad manufacturer that would love to sell you more pads says the pad is a go you still THINK that it's done. Once again, my EXPERIENCE is that this pad soldiers on. Next time I lay down 85rd with one of my ratty soft green pads, I'll be sure that I post the results. I've been...

    Are my foam pads toast?

I'd have to say that the better wet thumb comes with knowing that the pad is still useful and that instead of buying a new pad to replace it, I can keep my money in my pocket. That's what my *experience* has taught me. I'd take that very same pad to Ferrari paint right now and return top quality...

Can a newbie realistically apply Opti-coat?

It's really not difficult at all. My first car was black and I didn't have a single spot that I had to polish out.

    Are my foam pads toast?

For those of you that think that pads are toast, how long have you been detailing and are you detailing as a business? Just curious.

Time Warp - 240fps DA GG 6" ROP

The machine was designed to be a sander and the counterweight for a single sheet of sandpaper attached to the backing plate. It really doesn't change the characteristics of the machine at all when using polishing pads.

chemical guys water spot remover after treatment

Nick I think the product he is speaking of is like a wash soap. If its getting to the point of removing the water spots (calcium) then its stripping the LSP. Make sure that you've removed all of the WSR by washing with a wash solution and then apply your LSP.

Menzerna - New Names and Product Numbers

Agreed Mike. For those same reasons many experience differences with LSP's and detail sprays and so forth. I just quietly moved the product out of my arsenal and went back to what was already working for me consistently. Being mobile means the conditions are pretty much never the same. That...

So he says for those that can't outright afford the polisher to save for it and that's offensive?? Man up! I saves for my big screen and for the mini van I bought the wife and for our iPhones and...
