Do you mostly stick with one product line, or cherrypick from multiple lines?

And why? Is there one company you just prefer above all others? Do you think products within a line work better together? Thanks

    Windshield cleaning

My mother's Mazda has a nasty scratch in the glass where a bit of bare metal from a wiper rubbed against the glass. Looks really bad, but can't really feel it with your finger. Was thinking I'd need to use a cutting pad with a compound like 105, but maybe even that won't do the trick. Scratch...

    Windshield cleaning

Is it safe to use the same pads on paint you're used on a windshield? Any chance you'll get little bits of glass embedded in the pad? Thanks

Washing very dirty / greasy MFs

    Ghost of factory applied decal

I have a similar problem. It's the decal put on by the dealer (2006 Prius). At some point in the past, someone removed the decal but not all the glue. Dark gray metallic paint.ghost isn't too visible. Not sure what's been tried on it. What should I try? In what order? Thanks

    Best practices for older daily-driver

I have almost the same situation and equipment as you: 10 year old DD (Prius), even bought same DA & same package of pads. Advice I've read has been to start with the least aggressive first. So I'm actually trying a 1 step polish/wax, then seeing how that turns out. If not happy, will try...
