    Good wheel AND tire cleaner?

DP Wheel Gel is a good cleaner. :xyxthumbs: I always found it to be an EXCELLENT tire cleaner and a decent wheel cleaner. There's always Meguiar's APC or APC+ as well. Cheap and works well for cleaning almost any surface inside or outside a car depending on the dilution.

How often do I need to clay my car?

Great article Mike! When do I clay, when do I polish, etc. are really common detailing questions. I usually just say to people "do it when the car needs it." It's not like an oil change as you say and you can't schedule it.

    Flex Repair Question

:iagree: If the part that broke is a piece of the Edge adapter then you'll need to get in touch with Edge/3M to get it replaced.

    Does P21s remove wheel sealant????

While P21S is safe for all surfaces it is a pretty effective cleaner. So my guess is that it would remove wheel sealant to some extent if not completely. If your wheels are in good shape why not just clean them regularly with soap & water? I only use wheel cleaner on my wheels a couple of...

What's a good car wash soap to use ?

I've tried more wash soaps than I can remember! For an OTC soap Megs Gold Class is pretty good. As far as "boutique" soaps, I rank Poorboy's SS&S and Optimum Car Wash as 1A and 1B respectively. I think they're both GREAT but if I had to choose just one it would be Poorboy's.

    Engine dressing?

CD2 is great but nearly impossible to find. To conserve my supply of CD2 I've been using Megs Hyper Dressing. It works really well.

Definitely a great wax that flies under the radar. It's even better when you consider the price.

Spot Buff Kit Warning on the 7424xp

Several years ago I bought one of these kits and while polishing the adapter unscrewed from the backing plate. I had to have my hood repainted and so after that I invested in a more traditional backing plate.

    Too early to polish?

:iagree: When I bought my car new two years ago the first thing I did when I got it home was to polish it and then wax it.

    Recommendation for NEW TOY?

I've owned an Audi TT and I've owned an S2k. I've also test driven many of the cars on your list. I'll throw my 2 cents in but in the end it comes down to what you want. Do you want a car that handles like it's on rails? Do you want a car with BRUTE power? Do you want a car with all the...

    A/g Carrying Swissvax ???

:goodpost: I think there is definitely room and opportunity for the Pinnacle brand to grow upward. There's no reason why the brand has to be limited to two offerings with a peak price point of $80. I'm not saying PBMA has to go nuts and start offering marque specific waxes like Zymol though...

    A/g Carrying Swissvax ???

:D What a great response! Pinnacle is a good wax, but I think it would be good for AG to offer something you could move up to from Pinnacle. It could be a new Pinnacle offering or another brand like Zymol or Swissvax. I look at Pinnacle as a "gateway" wax (stolen from the term "gateway"...

What to do when you have no access to a faucet?

Even better is just to use water from the sink and wash in the garage (if you have one) away from prying eyes. I use rinseless wash soap in my garage during the winter and there is very little puddling that occurs.

:whs: All you need is a couple of buckets filled up from your sink. No hose needed at all.
