    Working Carnauba Gold

Friends, I have ordered a bucket of Autosmart Carnauba Gold to my job. I know it will get a deep gloss but how should I best work with it. Is it best to work it in thin in the paint and then wipe it off with a machine? I never wax by hand these days. Any suggestions is much appreciated. Thanks!

    Citroen C3

Yup, I bought a Mazda 6 2,0 2003 which I had to polish to death. The former owner was old and had washed the car with Scotch Brite-the green side. Well, that's speculating but it looked like it. I will get pictures later when I get my Carnauba Gold and put that on before laying 2 layers of...

    The Swedish made Top Tool

Cyclo pads are just a little too small so you will not get the little edge of insurance outside the pad velcro holder. The company is called Top Car, phone number +46 150 78014. Good luck!

Thanks brother. This picture was taken after a wash&interior service with windows so it's pretty much a normal day.

Nica, you would dig this baby. It's mean and takes pads up to size of 140 mm. I hope Edge's Cyclo converting kit could be transferred to this one as well. I'm going to look into it. The company that has invented and builds Top Tool doesn't have a website as far as I know but if it's of any worth...

I'm not worthy, man. Silver is a color which you can get away with some minor flaws on, but restored properly it's really nice.

Thanks man, I have to check it out. One friend is going to Florida this autumn so I'll ask him to look for it.

Yup, you have to get there once a year and you do a minor work on the paint if the car has been washed properly and top it with new Formula U. I used to work there but now I'm at a BMW dealer's place.

Yup, how come some customers can buy an expensive car and try to get the detailing cheaper? You get what you pay for! Some outstanding work on that baby.

Thanks a lot for the comment. I think I put 5-6 hours on this and it was done outside regular hours but it's still the same job for me. I'm 37 now so I will not lower the standards. We are a BMW dealer so we are very busy with detailing. The exterior was....well, lots of tar stains and what not...

I have a bottle of Menzerna at home, will buy a Meguiar's home to try-probably the Speed Glaze but at work we use 3M so far. Will check it out, though.
