I havent used OC yet but I have used #84 which is a real heavy cut Meguiars compound... it absorbed deep into the pad I use. I use XMT cleaner religiously... I had zero issues completely cleaning my pads after using #84 compound. One warning though.. XMT pad cleaner is pretty strong stuff...

Well... the Edge pads that I bought for the rotary are 8"... Im honestly starting to think 8" is totally overkill. My 7.5"ers almost felt too big.

Whats liquid black? Its black paint after Im done with it. Im the MAN This truck was supposibly detailed 2-3 months ago... look at the swirls that were left behind be the supposed "detailers". Needless to say they wont be using that other detailer anymore.... and because of their shoddy work...

I think with the PC you should go with the flats... they work great. The wave pads are supposed to release heat which isnt really an issue with the PC... more of a rotary thing. Im assuming the wave 6ers are for those that want to use a 6" with the rotary with the benefit of releasing the heat...

Thanks guys.. appreciate the feedback. Sparkie.. I used my LC 7.5" VC pads.. they worked great! A little big for some areas but I just had to manipulate the way I was using the rotary to get it to work. I may get some 6.5" pads soon for those situations.
