    Using AIO as a wash

ha *Please* don't abuse me, I already gave myself enough grief about it already. ;) I have no excuse, except that I thought I had more and didn't want to go to Discount Auto cuz I didn't know they had any decent OTC washes. After reading the recent shampoo thread I realize they do. But now...

    Using AIO as a wash

Lauren--I didn't use much soap this time because I didn't have much. Maybe a capful of soap (which means almost no suds :( ) with a capful of AIO. What I'm going to try next is a nice bucket of suds with one cap of AIO dumped in for good measure. I doubt the amount of soap you use with it makes...

    Using AIO as a wash

thanh--yep. But I must say, looking at my car today I'm pretty jazzed at the subtle difference that capful of AIO made to a quick wash and dry. It looks very nice. I think I'm going to keep adding a capful of AIO even when I have enough suds. :D

    Using AIO as a wash

From Killr LOL! Yes, it was very weird...BUT IMO it washed just as soft as a nice foamy soap and left my car slick and shiny clean. Thanks for your replies, guys. I doubt AIO will replace my car shampoo (Megs Gold or NXT my next to try), but in a pinch it does very, very well. I was...

    Using AIO as a wash

I ran out of soap today, so I augmented the last little bit in the bottle with a capful of AIO cuz I remembered reading here on the forum and also on the AG site that AIO made a good car wash. Does anybody know if using AIO like this will strip off any of the KSG and Collinite I have so...

    NXT question (somewhat urgent)

Why not top your Klasse twins with Collinite? I lurv the combo. Very wet looking IMO and super beading. It also seems to have exceptional durability but since it's only been a month and a half since I applied the Collinite (2.5 months for the Klasse) I won't really know much about extreme...

    I don't think this one will buff out . . .

Nora--it is good that you're okay!! Jeez, that's something scary to go through. I hope the red light runner got charged and with a hefty fine to boot. My main question, is, though...after you ascertained that you were okay, how did you keep from jumping out of your beloved CRV and kicking the...

    new car... maybe?

Those little Mazda Speed3's really blow my shorts...I recommend trying one of those before anything else if you like that for a new car. IMO having a new car is really nice and even if it's not your dream car you have the comfort of knowing you're not inheriting someone else's bad habits. That's...

    Difficulties accessing autogeekonline

When I try to log in to AGO from any computer except my laptop on my office network, I get a message that says something like "the moderator has to add [that particular] domain to the whitelist" and it won't let me in as libtech. This is extremely annoying as I like to snatch a quick peek at the...

    Problem with my puppy...

IMO Nature's Miracle is the best enzyme odor buster out there. You can get it by the gallon at PetsMart or probably just about any pet store. I have multiple cats and a dog, so I know how well this stuff works! Now that I'm out of school and am making decent money again I plan on getting...

    Part 2: Nasty chevy

Good heavens...you mean you'd actually pick up the phone if this guy called you again? ha :p Seriously, whether he gets a new truck or keeps this one you should tell him to call you AT LEAST once per year so it doesn't get that grody again. The deer feed baked int the bed so hard that you...

    Part 2: Nasty chevy

The guy may not want to trade for a new truck now. You just gave him a brand new truck! :) If he's going to do that to a new vehicle, though, it do make you wonder why in the world he would bother getting one...

    Oh my

wytstang--I know what you mean about cheaper tires. I never had anything dangerous like that happen to me, but right before my Buick's trannie started with the weird and creepy I finally got my first flat from the set I referenced earilier in this thread. Five years they lasted, and still had...

    Oh my

Thanks, Gearhead...I actually have been doing a little prelim research (the actual purchase is, of financial necessity, a little ways off) and have just begun to realize these are all factors when purchasing wheels. I never knew there could be so much to changing wheels, but it makes it even...

    Hello from X Rumer

supercharged--you are too kind to spammers. I've always thought something involving honey, fire ant hills, and genitalia is appropriate for them for the havoc they wreak and the $$$ they cost honest people. Grrrrrrrr...

    Oh my

Thanks, everyone, for the advice. abrcrombe, that's really good to know about the warranty. As superchargd advised, I wouldn't buy cheap rims or tires, so I hoped there wouldn't be a problem...but you never know. I didn't know but what car manufacturers are like insurance companies and will try...

    Oh my

Jen--yes. Yes, it is a sickness. I even had fleeting thoughts of my trusty shotgun in the bedroom closet when a mockingbird crapped on my car last weekend right after I washed it. And mockers are my very favorite birds! I love them for their attitude and the beautiful noise they make. But...
