Great thread and replies. I have noticed a lot of "I'm opening shop" threads lately with minimal experience. I have been doing this coming up on 5 years this December full time and I still get nervous quoting and charging clients. I wish I had the confidence to open shop after 3 cars

I do this as well after the initial vacuum with compressed air, great for getting in all the seat tracks and little cracks

Unfortunately I agree. I feel that "cheap" startups rarely work. You get what you pay for. However! Business cards, personality, an handshakes are cheap and you can accomplish more with that than any flyer or newspaper ad

I used to use lots of Ardex and car brite stuff. Smart cut is ok. The rest is junk IMHO
