I have a 1995 Ford Explorer with a 4 liter v6. I could own Sword's cars in a flash... he knows it.:D:D:D:D AAAAAnyways, I do not show off my engine because it is so slow, but I do just squirt simple green in the engine, let it sit for awhile, and then just hose it off. Car wash soap

I have done claying on my car. If I am correct, you can only use a clay bar on like 3 cars and then you have to toss it? It is like 20$ per too.

What is the best soap to use for the foam gun? Duragloss is cheap and I have been hearing it is good and soft on paint and wax. Should I go with that for my own cars? NXT I've heard is stronger, and will that work well in a foam gun to wash my client's cars? Thank you all for your time and help...

    Clean rinse bucket.

I've used other high quality polishes on it, but I'm talking about Pinnicle and Wolfgang polishes. I just have some scratches because of age. I don't have light swirl marks. I have two shoplights that I use for detailing. I don't wash twice a day, now that would be crazy! =D I wash every other day.

    Freaking water dripping when polishing/waxing!

Here is a tip for all. If you have HUGE bass in your car, use it for a few seconds, water will drip from places. Close all your doors with a little more force than usual, and more water will drip. I just tried both of these methods. I like the bass one though. :D :D :D

    Is taping to polish necessary?

I just do one panel at a time, but for the big ones like the hood I split in two sections. Will that work?

    Car wash soap

Does claying really make a difference? Because when you polish a car, surface contaminants are lifted. Is that correct?

    Clean rinse bucket.

Really? MORE swirls? I would think that because I wash it so much, it would be less of a chance, because less dirt.

    Freaking water dripping when polishing/waxing!

Does it matter if water gets in the polish or wax? There is an electric leaf blower? I thought there were only gas ones that are SUPER loud.

    Is taping to polish necessary?

Why does it matter though if the pad rubs there?
