2006 Toyota Sequoia - Comet Wash - Extreme Makeover - BLACKFIRE One Step

Your results are really quite remarkable. Having dealt with the Toyota single stage white in the past I admire your perseverance to get the job done in a single day. The one I dealt with with was a Corolla not the monster you brought back to life. Your work turned out far better than mine as I...

Would Bug Blocker Block Tar ?

I would have Stoner's Tarminator on hand along with some terrycloth towels.

Are any of you using aerosol tire dressings?

    Stoner's More Shine.

Are there any spray sealants that are worth it?

Since it also contains carnauba the look is as good as the longevity. Great stuff :xyxthumbs:

    303 Multi-Surface Cleaner

I suggest you read the directions I looked up and posted for you above. The directions say: Agitate with a soft brush or wet cloth.

    303 Multi-Surface Cleaner

No mention of diluting the product: USAGE DIRECTIONS: Spray directly on spot until wet. Agitate with a soft brush or wet cloth. Wipe up stain and excess cleaner with a damp cloth, rinsing out cloth in clean water as necessary. Let surface dry. For heavier soils, increase agitation and soak...

    303 aerospace protectant

I also use the microfiber covered sponge. I spray the sponge, one side only, rather than the dash. Once you get 303 on the inside of the windshield at the base of the dash it can be a real bugger to clean the glass.

    CAR Dryers

Although my detailing days are in the past I just used my gas powered leaf blower. I never had a problem and used this method for many years. Noisy but effective.

Does everyone really need a $100+ DA buffer?

Of course not but it depends on how much pride you have in your ride. If you want serious results then the Griot's G6 or Porter Cable are indispensable. Other than pads & associated products it's a one time expense. If you want to continue your 20 year old "do it by hand" regimen then forego...

The Pan video...you know the one, discuss!

I never much cared for Pan's presentations and took them with a pound of salt. Some reviewers offer their 2¢ worth as help/assistance to fellow detailers and beginners. Pan appears to do his presentations solely for income. I can't fault him for that but his personality, or lack thereof, just...

    Stimulus Check

Nothing so far. The first one came in the mail as a check, the second one was a direct deposit. I've no idea how this most recent one will arrive. As long as it DOES arrive I don't really care how.

    54 studebaker, 327 corvette engine/4 speed.

Studeys with that body style are just awesome. It would be a pleasure to work on that one.

TRAINING BOATS for the 2021 MARCH Boat Detailing Class

Getting the boat looking new is the easy part compared to the task just to set things up for the class! I can barely comprehend the massive amount of work that is required for such an undertaking.:bowdown:

    Customer comment..

I see it as pointless to pursue this "customer". His words were few but expressed volumes of telling information.

Restoration of 1973 AMX Pierre Cardin Edition.

The difference in the seats is striking. Once again Woolite (and elbow grease) to the rescue. Sometimes old school procedures and products just work best.

How to fix previously(poorly) repaired scratches

I would have declined. If you make it worse guess who is going to pay for the repair? Really risky undertaking.

    What is liquid glass ?

I believe they are no longer in business as of 2018. All you can do is try it on an inconspicuous spot to see if it's still usable.
