You're just used to seeing very bad swirls. The paint doesn't look bad man. Its probably 90%. Just very fine swirling in it here and there. Nothing 205 wont take out easy. You need to look next to the light source while you move it around. Metallic paint can be harder to catch these.

It's a good method and I know he didn't invent the idea but I guess it's what stuck now lol. It's really hard for me to watch his videos though, they're so chocked full of hype and plugs it hurts. I use a modified version of "his" method for my ONR washes.

It's really weird to apply. I sprayed it a couple times on a yellow foam pad. Then apply it to windows. When you're putting it on it feels like you're dry wiping the paint and it's like clear and dry immediately. It's very hard to tell if you're even doing anything lol. I wasn't even sure I...

If you're gonna Iron-X it should be pre clay and bare paint. I would definitely do it when you're planning on redoing everything to the car. Strip Wash rinse Iron-X rinse Clay rinse Polish Seal of your choice LSP

Nice vid. I love my Rupes 21 as well. It's crazy the results you can get from M205 with a light cut pad.

Iron X won't do anything for dirt or dust. I would still recommend doing it though post wash and pre clay to decontaminate iron/rust embedded in the paint.

I just used M205 on the white CCS pads and didn't spend much time at all on the car. Had very minor swirling and it took it all out.
