    Dry gelcoat

    Any recommendation for a product/oil for a neglected gelcoat that is really! dry/oxidized. When I compound the gelcoat sucks up the product and dries out really quickly even in small areas. Wonder if there is product or essential oil I could work in before compounding to ensure even coverage...

    I've noticed that when windows fog up for whatever reason you can see the outlines of everywhere you wiped(inside). Does this mean the windows were not cleaned correctly like trace residue not wiped off.Otherwise they seam to be perfectly clear in the day. i think I'm over analyzing it, but...

    Scratches in gelcoat

    Mostly on the hull but also in general, most boats are covered with them. I've tried multiple pad/compound combinations to using different RPMs and pressure etc... Is the only way to wet sand or machine sand them. For wet sanding detailed instructions on grit,pressure,direction backing pad etc...

    Thanks for the advice, I didn't mention its for gelcoat/Fiberglass, topside marine paints. It can streak on any surface. I like to hand apply it cause it gives it a harder shine.The buffer wilI tend to smear and make swirls of the wax.I have read to apply very thin non overlapping and small work...

    Any tips or secrets for applying this wax with out streaking. I know all the ideal conditions, but can still be hit of miss, I prefer not to use a buffer to clean off the wax. A lot of the time I have to apply it in regardless if its too hot or cold etc...
