    Help with detailing part time.

There is a video on youtube where they took 3 identicle black vehicles. They were all polished and corrected the same by a professional detailer. They ran one through an automatic car wash, one through a traditional car wash and the last one they used the california water blade to dry. The one...

    Car Wash Stripped Product?

I've been told that the soap has a high alkaline level to help strip the dirt off in touchless washes. So maybe that's it? And most car washes recycle and filter the water after it goes down the drain and then you spray it back on your car.

    Don't wash the Challenger!

Pretty cool car! My uncle has the same color only the first year they came out and the black stripes are on the hood. He also has a 70 challenger with a 528 hemi, white with a black stripe on the side just like yours

    2003 Mazda 6

Yup, power finish on a LC orange took care of just about all the swirls. I haven't tried megs ultimate compound yet so we'll have to wait and see if someone else can chime in.

    { Pet Peeve's } Detailing

Im right there with you. My number one is when I do mobile detailing and the person says "Ok there is the hose on the side of the house you should be good to go". Then I find out that the car is locked and the sunroof is open etc... When I go to knock/ring door bell for the keys they are...

    Stores

OP-- I normally order most of my things here, but in a pinch I kinda know where to get some things around here. O reillys carries the megs line like everyone else said. You can get m105/205 like most people use here. I also purchase Stoners invisible glass, trim shine and high gloss tire shine...

    worlds coolest garage?

I used to work on Cell Towers and then I used to work on garage doors so I have an idea on what he may have done. First, the garage door is similiar to what they use for the airplane hangers, only they made a front porch attached to it. Those are extremely expensive. Second, I built a cell tower...

What product would you use on this...

For the grill if you use Ultima Trim and Tire Guard+, make sure you pick up a very small foam paintbrush. It will take you quite a while, but it will last. Otherwise I like Stoners Trim shine. It will be a lot quicker because it's in an aerosal can.

quick question: work in cold weather under sun?

Well what products will you be using? I've asked this question before and I have been told that a lot of compounds and polishes stop working right between that temp. I did do some correction on a car when it was about 52 degrees and I was fine.

What is good product for plastic trim?

Honestly a little goes a long way. I have a bottle that I have used on like 25 cars (wiper cowls and any black trim) and it's almost half full. I use the cheap stuff for tires and fender wells. As long as you don't use it for the tires and the wells you should get plenty of use out of it.

    flash brown royal wheel cleaner

Does anyone else us it in the engine compartment like I do? I usually spray it all over and agitate. What's nice is that it's safe for all the labels. I used Megs APC+ before and it cleans very well but it destroyed the label.

Is it better than Folex? I have also thought about buying that too. I've only seen one review on it though.

    flash brown royal wheel cleaner

I haven't really tried anything else from them, except the cherry bomb apc cleaner. I usually just use it around the house though since Brown Royal is great on the car.

    flash brown royal wheel cleaner

Let us know how you like it. If you can't post it on here, send me a PM. I would like to know someones opinion that has tried it against a bunch of professional products. I have compared this to a bunch of OTC products and just a few professional ones (sonax, ironx, megs apc+)

    flash brown royal wheel cleaner

You really don't have to wear a mask. I would say the only problem is if you inhale it directly, which I have done and it actually takes your breathe away for a second. I sprayed it and it was windy out and blew back in my face. It doesn't stink though like Iron X or other cleaners. I also use...

    flash brown royal wheel cleaner

I am a Brown Royal user as well. Best wheel cleaner I have used and it's cheap. I wouldn't say it's a total no scrub product unless you just cleaned your wheels the week before. It does however loosen up the brake dust so well that just agitation with your finger will do the job. I just bought...

Hand Wand Self Serve Car Washes For the Winter

I don't know how you guys do it. Sometimes it's below 25 degrees for weeks at a time. I tried spraying the car with the pressure washer and even doing a traditional wash at the do it yourself and the car turns to sheets of ice before I can even dry it.
