    Sad Story

LOL. Well, since it is an established business, i guess he just assumed it was the right thing to do. Can't blame him, but i did try to educate him. :)

    So here's an odd-ball question...

With the assumption that all other factors are held constant, yes, a black car (or black interior) will be hotter than a lighter colored car in both the paint and the interior. [leather absorbs more heat than other common automotive interior fabrics] I never regretted buying a black car...

    Sad Story

Yup, was born and raised here. Sorry couldn't reply during the weekend, i had my internet and phone line dropped at home, we're trying to cut down on expenses. Thank you for the compliment, Mark. :) It's not necessary to share the establishment's name, so let's keep it at that. I do not...

5 1/2 inch and 6 inch Buffing Pads - Pictures and Links

Thanks for sharing Mike, that is really helpful. If i may suggest, kindly add a picture of the back as well showing how much the H&L velcro covers. Like for example, the 6" HTs have only 5.5" velcro and the 6" GG Pads cover the entire back of the pad. :)

    optimum compound-polish pad?

Yes, that's how i would interpret "pad dependent." Varying cuts are achieved depending on what type/kind of pad used. But i see all compounds and polishes as pad dependent, but with their own level of cut. For example, i can use a liquid wax as a lubricant for my wool pad, and i assure you...

    toughest sealant?

I agree, i'm sure everyone else agrees as well that every wax or even sealant fades and deteriorates. But it could still be very well holding up, that would be product dependent...the rate it deteriorates as you've said. :)

    Is it Christmas?

WOW! Souveran and SN! I wish i could afford to buy one someday. :) I agree, even on just the forums, i could really tell how Tad is such a great guy and dad. There's a certain way he presents himself on his posts. :)

Yes, but he was firm in believing that it's in great condition. I just told him to look at the paint under the sun. I haven't seen him yet though, he might have a change of heart. :)

    Sad Story

A couple of weeks ago, one of my neighbors approached me while i was polishing my car (yeah the pics on my "review of various products"). He asked "what do you put on your paint? It's looks so shiny and wet?" Then, he went on how he had his brand new truck detailed and "paint protected" at a...

    Megs #21 or NXT 2.0?

Yes it is, i stand corrected, Dwayne..lol. Sorry,it's just that I would personally consider it a topper than a stand alone sealant. I really wanna try it, but it's just too expensive. :)

    Megs #21 or NXT 2.0?

WG Fuzion is a wax, not a polish. I think you're in a state of information-overload, as i remember i was too. hahaha. On your order you're just missing a sealant. Since your car is black, if price is an issue, i'd go with 4*UPP. If not, then get WGDGPS 3.0. I just recently used it, and it's...

    Headlight Resto

Lol! Great work on the headlights. You might wanna try starting at a higher grit, trying the least abrasive method first. That'll save you time by not removing the scratches of lower grit sandpapers. IMO you're removing too much plastic with 320. Well done and what a way to make a quick buck! :)
