4 primary benefits of using detailing clay to clay paint

Re: The 2 primary benefits of using detailing clay to clay paint It depends on how much clay you use, the size of the vehicle, and the amount of contaminants you pull (too much dirt will saturate the clay, there is a limit in the amount of times you get fresh clay out of continuous kneading)...

First post, first detail w/pics. Hello all!

:welcome: to AGO by the way, Mike. To both of you, I'm sorry i wasn't trying to step on anyone's toes or question your abilities and skills. I was just trying to probe to provide better assistance on your questions. I've experienced some stains that would not come out. But this was because...

    A PBMA store?

As i was searching for a glass polishing pad, i came across a site (superiorcarcare), and i noticed most of the pictures, products, kits and even how the products are categorized are the same. Even the "what's new" has virtually the same products listed. I checked out the "about us" but...

    Corolla619 - Scammer

Yeah, i understand Richard, i know this forum is filled with great people. That's why i kept silent. And I was sure there was an uncertainty that's why you brought it to the forum. Thanks, Mark. There is good in everyone...i'm 100% positive on that! Even the most dreadful criminal has love...

First post, first detail w/pics. Hello all!

Beautiful work there on the 350z. Powergloss is an aggressive compound, haven't tried it but based on the chart AG has, it's as aggressive as you can get aside from the true extremely gritty rubbing compounds. Same here, i have a yellow flat pad that is no longer flat..lol. Used it once on...

    Corolla619 - Scammer

To be honest, until snowking and yeebiz posted, i had the thinking corolla619 is being ganged up on..treated guilty until proven otherwise. I kept silent and just subscribed to the thread. I guess i just wanted to believe no one would intentionally steal or lie for no compelling reason as we...

How to get embedded dirt off paint before polishing? (Just washing didn't work)

Sounds like a stain from something. I've experienced this on a black car before. The guy used a tarpaulin to cover his car parked outside (used it like a carcover..lol). It was subjected to the scorching sun and rain. I guess a wet tarp then a 45 degree sun after wasn't a good mix. I...

The "reveal" Maxima Mom & Dad

Convincing her to read the forums i visit is another thing. lol. Yeah, her idea of the open parking is not gonna happen. That was my point exactly, cheaper parking but accelerated wear and tear. Again, well done on the Maxima, Lisa and Evan!!! Is the Mazda 3 next? :)

The "reveal" Maxima Mom & Dad

I envy you Maxima Dad. What are your names by the way? You wouldn't see my wife caught dead holding a polisher in one hand and a bottle of compound on the other. She gets irritated i spend so much time on the car, she just doesn't understand the rewards of a detail and of having a looker-car...

    The next step

I would go for the Makita. I wrote a review a couple of weeks back. :) I went with the HT Pads, and they are awesome. But they heat the area your polishing pretty quickly compared to other pads, but they perform exceptionally. As for the wool pads, I went with Dana's recommendation, 3M...

    Important- Please Read

Yeah i remember that one Corey, the hacker who was able to break into a well-secured database and place a virus was hired by the US gov't to design and improve the existing database's security and protection to prevent it from happening again. :)

Need Help in Polishing a Black 2000 740 iL BMW

It would be best to do a test spot first as Mike always suggests. You can try the 3401 with white and SIP for starters, if not enough then white with PG, if still not working then orange with PG.
