A final end to the Edge 2K ORANGE PAD confusion!

Sorry for the confusion, but different machines, and applications require us to have many different styles of foams. In the 4 inch if you need more agressive the Orange is the same as it is in the 6 inch. The White and Green are also the same. The yellow is not the same as in the 6 inch, but...

A final end to the Edge 2K ORANGE PAD confusion!

The Cyclo pads we make have this Yellow European foam, and Adam's Polishes has a 6 inch pad that uses the White European foam as well.

A final end to the Edge 2K ORANGE PAD confusion!

We have at least three other European foams. A yellow that is less agressive than the Orange, a White that is a polishing pad but stiffer, and a Yellow that is the same as our Scrubb Daddy foam for really coarse applications (not buffing paint).

A final end to the Edge 2K ORANGE PAD confusion!

Ok, so here are my thoughts. First, the Orange has not been on website because it was made by request for AG but we are not limited to AG for sales of this Orange as it is a common product in the market. Second, we have not listed it on our site because it does not really fit in when comparing...

    Cyclo arrived

Try this test, first use the LC velcro pads on the Cyclo and get a real good feel for how the machine vibrates. Then change over to the Edge system and I guarantee that will be the last time you use velcro on your Cyclo.

    Ruined....

Can you please call to discuss? I just don't see how the pad was torn apart like that without some operator error and excessive pressure but I would like to know more about the situation. Thanks, Aaron Krause (President & CEO) Dedication To Detail, Inc. 777 Henderson Blvd. Suites # 1 & 2...

    New Products, update.

A few comments.... We make the tips in two types of 10 packs. One is 10 all of one colored texture and the other is 2 of each colored texture for a total of 10. We call the latter the assorted pack. The tips DO in fact come from the centers of the Classic Edge foam pads and are part of our...

    Six month's review

[/LIST]Can you elaborate on this a bit more? Did you rinse the car off really good first, that will help remove the really heavy stuff especially a good pressure wash. Also the ShMiTT was made to be very gentle on the paint not heavy like a microfibre or any fiber mitt, so on one hand I am...

Who has used the Lake Country CCS pads?

Not sure I understand your concern. Cost wise, two CCS pads at 10.99 and 9.99 cost more than one Edge double sided pad, plus you need a backing plate that will eventually break and you have to buy another where the adapter cost about the same as the backing plate and is guaranteed for life...

POLL ALERT : Which Detailing Tool Gets the Least Amount of Respect

I think its fair to say that the ShMiTT should actually be its OWN CATAGORY. Oh and it of course gets my vote:righton: ShMiTT is a totally different class as wool, lambswool, synthetic, or microfiber mitts.

Wheel ShMitt - how to clean?

With the first glue we used that was true but that was in October I believe. Since they we have upgraded the adhesive to one that can withstand about 400F so feel free to wash it in the machine. I just don't recommend cooking them in the oven:awesome:

    Really don't like the ShMitt

Hello Harold, Your experience is very unusual. Most have the opposite experience. The only way I can see the ShMiTT grabbing is when the foam is dry. My suggestion is try a different soap with more suds or lubricity, or more soap in the bucket in general. The ideas to wax the car, and clay...

LC CCS vs Edge flat vs Edge Wave pads

edge2000 system is the most cost effective since one double sided pad cost less than two single sided ones and the adaper which is guaranteed for life is usually cheaper than a backing plate. Also the 4 inchers have been on sale at AG for over a week.

Using the pc gives my teenage son a BADLY swollen hand...why?

Well Basically, the Cyclo uses two 4 inch heads that counter balance eachother and when used with the new Edge system on them they are centered so well that there is virtually no vibrations. Here is a review of them on another forum. You can see the machine and the changeover. Cyclo's...
