Mercedes AMG - XMT360 To Da Rescue!

Great job Toto. Love the flake in the picture after the combo. What machine and pad did you use with the 360? Do you just work it into the paint until it almost disappears?

Negotiating the price on a new car...

I've always had good luck looking on edmunds.com. They have a Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Forum. They also have links for dealer quotes. Get them to call you. I agree with working with the internet department. They are used to selling over the phone. The traditional car salesman wants to...

Anyone have a problem with grease/oil coming out of the PC 7424 or Edge Adapter ?

Thanks for posting. That's exactly where I noticed it coming from, the area where the handle screws into.

Anyone have a problem with grease/oil coming out of the PC 7424 or Edge Adapter ?

My problem was a little different. The first oil I noticed was on the back of the white Edge 2k pad. I was using the pad to remove Liquid Souveran that had hazed (read about it from Justin and Aaron) on speed 4.5 with no pressure. I had finished about 3/4 of the car before I noticed the oil on...

Anyone have a problem with grease/oil coming out of the PC 7424 or Edge Adapter ?

No, I never oiled it. I bought it from AG back in December and haven't used it all that much. The oil looks like it's coming from around the threads were you can screw the handle in on the side of the machine. If the plastic housing was removable I might be able to tell exactly where it's...

Anyone have a problem with grease/oil coming out of the PC 7424 or Edge Adapter ?

I was using my PC last night with a white Edge 2k pad and I noticed some grease/oil on the pad. Didn't know where it came from until I removed the pad and it looked like it was coming out of where the handle goes. Anyone else ever have this problem? Also is it possible to remove the black...

How effective are the Edge 2k wool pads at paint correcting with a PC? I don't have a rotary and wouldn't trust myself with one if I did.

    Long Awaited Soap Tests

Thanks for the review. I use CG Citrus Wash in both my foam canon for the pressure washer and in my $10 Lowes soap dispenser. I haven't noticed any adverse effects on my LSP but I only use 1/2 oz.

    Pinnacle Souveran??

If you're not interested in the durability of a sealant (Megs #21) and just want added depth and wetness, try a glaze like Megs #7 or ClearKote's RMG.

Quick question guys- Glaze ontop of a wax?

If I was using a glaze on top of a wax I would use a pure glaze like Megs #7. RMG and VM have cleaning properties that might affect the LSP. Not sure about CG's EZ Glaze.

    So many sealents????

I really like 4* UPP as well. Incredibly slick at first, although short lived. Very easy on and off and looks great on silver. I usually maintain with UPPS or Aquawax. I'd like to try it with the Polycharger.
