personally, i've never seen a spray bottle that came with a cap. either a sprayer or nothing. more often than not it was just the bottle and if it came with a sprayer they were junk.
alcohol has always worked for me, the stronger the better. if it's in big globs you could always use a razor blade (carefully) and take the majority of the top off. best of luck and keep it out from under those trees.:nomore:
looks like acid. sucks that they did that. im sure they won't own up to it, but for your sake i hope they make it right. have you tried re-polishing just to see if it would help?
Just curious as to what everyone's thoughts are. For a long time I've just used cheapies and pitch them when they break. Would spending the money on some chemical resistant sprayers be money well spent? I remember getting some when i worked at the dealership and they didn't hold up any better...

somebody was just saying the other day that the top maxwax with opti-seal and have had great results. seems like he said anthony orosco (guy who knows his stuff about optimum products) and maybe even Dr. G (founder of optimum) said that it wouldn't hinder the product's performance at all. I have...
i am also curious as to what the going rate is? would love to have a coating on the trailblazer but many of them seem hard to get, so i might just have to pay someone to do it, or forget about it.
can't tell you how many times that happened to me at work. the guy picking up towels to do laundry wouldnt pay attention and grab a piece of steel wool and then blammo, you got a bunch of towels that arent good for anything anymore.
i like castrol's super clean. at 6 bucks a gallon i use it straight and haven't had any problems yet. megs apc+ is also in my arsenal and i will use that at 4:1 if the tires have been somewhat maintained.
did you do an alcohol wipedown, or something similar between polishing and sealing? it's possible for leftover polishing oil's to affect a wax or sealant's ability to bond to your paint.
