can't decide po 85 or ultrafina?!

gonna order but can't decide which. ive used sip and 106 ff before but had mixed results (they tended to be very tempermental) but when they were on they were like nothing else. no experience with ultrafina but it doesn't seem to have the temperment issues that some have had with menz. somebody...

Scratches from new car dealership 'detailer'

Its amazing the quality of work some places let out the door. I run the detail shop for a Chevy dealer in a little ho-dunk town in michigan, we have good products, not great, and dont make very much money doing it. BUT, we take pride in our work which i think is what is missing in a lot of...

GM white paint... whats the deal

my understanding has been that a lot of it is brake dust, although i could be very wrong. if its brand new i would assume it was rail rust or possibly from the truck it was hauled on. as stated before it ends up on all vehicles(look at a silver or pewter vehicle very closely especially behind...

    3M green automotive masking tape?

my experience has been that the blue leaves less also. maybe you got a bad roll? only time i really had trouble was when i had a total brain fart, forgot it was there and wiped some wax and grease remover over top of it. Boy did that make for a mess. i would say for a couple bucks get the green...

wow thats nasty. i would say tarminator, maybe some lacquer thinner (be careful). Personally, i have never had any luck taking anything like that off with clay. and like someone already said, get a pack of plastic blades.

Will spiderweb/cobwebing come back on their own after polishing?

looks like typical swirls and scratches to me. if your paint has cracks in it nothing is gonna fix it or fill it in or anything. if it was someone who was offering to do some work for you sounds like he was leaving himself an out so when his glaze wore off and you came back he could say he told...
