Thanks for the feedback and tips guys. I did pick up some M205 and pads so that i could take care of some water spots and just to be sure the surface is as perfect as I can get it. Unfortunately I will now have to wait to get my dent fixed before I get to work. :(

So I loaded up my cart this morning with opti-coat, a 6 pack of pads, megs glass cleaner, BOGO microfiber detergent, M205, megs spray bottle, sample of wolfgang trim sealant, and maybe a thing or two more. Hit the free shipping mark, got the 20% off and was feeling good when I went to sleep...

I just recently polished out my car with the Megs MF system. I used the D301 for the second step. I have decided to opti-coat my car. Should I just use some Griots Paint Prep to remove the D301 and go from there, or should I do another final step polish with no protection added like M205 or...

I would be interested in this as well. I have ordered all my stuff from autogeek but it would be nice to know there is somewhere to get stuff locally in case of emergency.

I can not answer either question but they are also supposed to absorb less product into the pad while working. So there is value there by not wasting product. I have a couple of crimson HT's but I have not used them yet.

Not a single swirl or scratch after using the MF system on my car. I was even able to get a few deeper scratches out using the "edging the pad" technique. The only thing that didn't come out was some real bad water spotting. I could have gotten them out edging the pad but I would have to do...

I just did my car for the first time with the MF system. I used the D301 and I am really happy with the results. I will get a write up done as soon as I get the pics off my phone and camera. :xyxthumbs:

The wipes work well if your windows aren't REALLY dirty. Used as a touch up for fingerprints and smudges they are great. I have been using Surf City Clearly Better with 2 WW towels and love it. When I am out of this bottle I think I will give the Megs a try.

Sorry for your loss. Its especially rough when you think everything is good and you find out otherwise. My last dog was a wolf hybrid puppy that died at 6 months old. Haven't been able to bring myself to get another since.
