    Touch Up Brush

I was looking at those as well but thought they might offer less control in shape and amount of paint being applied. What has your experience been with them as far as ease of use and controlling how much paint is being applied?

    Touch Up Brush

I have a couple of spots on my car that need to be touched up. I was going to go with the Dr. Colorchip kit but decided to do it with touch up paint and clear coat. I am not sure what kind of brushes to get for the different shapes of dings and scratches. I was looking at these on...

    Applying Fuzion With A DA

Those are the threads I was thinking of. My search was probably too specific to pick up those threads. Thanks!!

    Applying Fuzion With A DA

When using it on my own car I will probably do it by hand. With a DA I can do it faster when I don't have the luxury of spreading a full detail over a couple of days. :xyxthumbs:

How many buffer pads does a new business need?

If you are going for cutting down time spent per car and ease of use I would recommend the Megs DA Microfiber system. Especially since you have yet to detail a car. The system is "almost" fool proof and a great way to introduce yourself to machine polishing. I wouldn't call the results...

    Applying Fuzion With A DA

Cool, that's what I was thinking...just wanted to be sure. :xyxthumbs: I thought I remembered reading something about it here, but that was a while back and I couldn't remember exactly what it was. Thanks!

    Applying Fuzion With A DA

I tried a quick search but didn't find what I was looking for... I am thinking about picking up the 3 oz. container of Fuzion while it is on sale. How do you apply it with a DA? Will I just scoop out the whole "disc" and rub it on the face of the pad? (with gloves on of course) -TtheC

Horrible Salesmen.. WHAT NOT TO DO

I have never had a problem when asking to take a car for a tesat drive. Hell, when I was 17 I walked into a chevy dealership and asked to take a camaro for a test drive. They copied my license and proof of insurance and tossed me the keys. I stood there for a minute and the guy asked if I...

Up Close & Personal: Detailer's Paint Coating

Should applicators be tossed after coating or can they be cleaned/re-used?

Up Close & Personal: Detailer's Paint Coating

Saw your post...was looking for an answer on method of application. I understand that it can be topped, just wondering if it should be done by hand or if using my DA with a pad to apply it will degrade the coating. :buffing:

Up Close & Personal: Detailer's Paint Coating

I was wondering the same thing. I was planning on topping it with WGDGPS using a crimson hydrotech. Are there any worries in this approach or should it be done by hand or perhaps a LC blue pad?

    Help Detailing Jeep for Offroading

I have not used my opti-coat yet, but based on what I have read here that (or one of the other coatings) might ease getting all the mud and dirt off. I am not sure how resilient it would be to off road conditions so it might not be cost effective. But if it lasts for a season or two and makes...

    Velcro Melted On Backing Plate

I tried customer service after my first pad failed. They told me to contact Meguiar's back then. I figured that would be the best way to get it resolved. Not AG's fault. :xyxthumbs:
