    Wool vs. Microfiber Pads?

^ Thanks. And I'm guessing just go with M105 over D300 and get to business, correct? Seems M105 is still prefered over D300 for MF pads in general.

    Wool vs. Microfiber Pads?

Im trying to understand the main difference between a wool cutting pad, and a MF cutting pad... both seam to be described as doing the same thing. Im considering the Meguiars Cutting Microfiber and LC Purple Foamed Wool pads in specific.

    Sonax or Optimum Detailer's spray?

Sonax is like a sealant... Optimum is your just looking for a (bulk) inexpensive way to wipe down the finish with decent shine.

Holograms / Buffer marks after body shop visit... how to remove?

FWIW all I have is PC at the moment... Orange, White and Crimson pads. Menzerna FG400, PF2500 and SF4000. Im sure hoping I can get them out with what I have... never used MF pads.

Holograms / Buffer marks after body shop visit... how to remove?

After a body shop visit for some repairs, I have holograms from their buffer all up and down my door... you can only really see it in direct sun light. Is a Lake Country Orange pad & Menzerna Compound (FG400) enough to take this out? Too strong? Or would I need a pad with higher cut?

    Hydro-tech Vs. CCS ?

^ agreed. Flat Pads don't have the dimples that "store" non-broken down product and are completely flat, giving you a surface to break down the DAT polishes. Since you want to break down DAT polishes, you really don't want dimples storing un-broken-down polish. That is why in general they...

    Hydro-tech Vs. CCS ?

Hydro (and the LC Flat Pads) usually work best with DAT polish (Menzerna) CCS can work better for SMAT polish (Meguiars) I prefer Flat/Hydro as I like Menzerna. CCS wont break down the diminishing abrasives fully due to the dimples.

    Hit and Run - Fantastic!

Its not so much my insrance rate going up... but the blemished CarFax report. As "minor" as this is, it will pull up an accident under this car should I ever try to sell/trade it in. So it just makes sense to pay out of pocket.

    Hit and Run - Fantastic!

My deductible is $1000.00 - which I set up on purpose if a situation like this ever came up. For example: If my deductable was $500 bucks, I would still pay the $950 out of pocket so as to not screw the carfax report of my car, and also to keep my insurance rate the same.

    Hit and Run - Fantastic!

Some idiot hit and ran my car... I had no idea of the incident until late at night I found my car hit. I had hopes that a dent wizard guy could fix it so I did some wet sanding and hit it with FG400 and got out most of the scratches some deep ones still remain... and overall the panels are...

    Plan for the Spring Correction

If you dont have the Menzerna polish yet, I would suggest FG400 & SF4000 instead of your choices. Otherwise looks good.

    Dirt "sticks" to paint

I'm finally done using "WAX" as my LSP. I too find dirt is attracted to it vs. coatings.
