Why do we obsess over LSP??

I agree. I think those of us with any passion for this, we read up on products and start to romance over them on 'what could be'. I'll daydream about using some awsome product and instantly wish I was there, using it. FWIW this is a hobby for me, not a profession. Spending a Satuday morning...

Why do we obsess over LSP??

I think its like clothes. Clothes main purpose is to protect us and keep us warm. But we wouldnt wear the same standard clothes everyday. Sometimes we want to put on a suit and tie... sometimes we want to look and feel special. So while jeans and a sweater have there place, a stylish suit is...

Why do we obsess over LSP??

We all know 95% of the finish is all in the prep work, yet we still obsess. After a few weeks and a few washes, any notable differences are gone, yet we still want to buy and try new ones. We cant go more than a few months before we strip our paint and re-apply a LSP, yet we hunt for...

Do you use spray wax as a topper / refresher to existing coat??

Lately I'm starting to reconsider using these... I wouldn't apply a regular paste wax without doing a full wash/clay/polish... it didn't make sense to put another coat of wax on top of the contaminants. So I'm asking myself why is it okay to top up with a spray wax... same concept, no? QD...

    Holograms after washing and QD...

Gotcha. Do paint sealants suffer from holograms too? Thinking about going to an Acrylic paint sealant... my thoughts are no oils in them, thus making future washes and QD's be free from this issue.

    Holograms after washing and QD...

2 bucket with DP Shampoo. Air dried the car with a blower and used a plush MF towel(s) when going around the car with the CG QDetailer. When I look at it from different angles, it looks slighlty "oily" creating these holograms. Buffing seems to help take them out but they aren't coming out...

    Holograms after washing and QD...

Last week I used PS21 Paint Cleaner and put on a coat of Collinite 915. Finish was great, no issues. Today I washed the car and followed up with a QD (Chemical Guys Synthetic Acrylic Detailer)... now I have holograms all over that weren't there before. What is this? Frustrating... No...

    Opinions on Black color waxes

black wax? 99% marketing... who really know if montan wax is better vs. bees vs. carnauba vs. polymers vs. everything else that goes into wax... Collinite 915 is a yellow color and provides a great "warm" look. The whole "color charged" thing has never sway'd me into buying or not buying a...

Looking for a "Glassy Hard Candy Shell" look out of a LSP...

How is the scratch resistance on the Black Label coat Mike? Others like Opti-Coat boast about it, but the in the AG description, it doesn't really touch on this subject.

Looking for a "Glassy Hard Candy Shell" look out of a LSP...

Working on a Dark Metalic Blue Audi S5. High on my list is Supernatural Hybird Sealant Paste due to the reviews of "high shine" I've read and the ease of application. Its not some "watery" product like Klasse HGSG which just wasn't enjoyable to work with or especially remove. Tried Collinite...

Looking for a "Glassy Hard Candy Shell" look out of a LSP...

Tried WGDGPS... too warm looking. I think Blackfire goes for the same warm look. Want razor glass like finish. Tried the Klass twins and liked the look but man it was a bear to remove... also didnt like the fact I had to do 3-4 layers of SG to get the look. I dont want a permanent sealer...
