    Any Nomad tips?

I have the 12V version that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and it works great. Fill it with distilled water and you can just about forget water spots. Distilled water is about 65 cents a gallon so you spend about $2.00 for a filtered, (near) spot-free wash. It also has many other uses...

    New car = blotchy dash

:iagree: This is very true especially on newer model cars. The best you can do is use distilled water very sparingly to clean the material. Using any top coating as mentioned above only adds to the splotchs.

    Dryer Pads/Sheets to Remove Bugs

Google this phrase - "cancer chemicals in dryer sheets". That's why you should use those dryer balls that look like porcupine testicles instead.

    Best defense against pollen?

I'm curious to know why you only get 1 to 1.5 months protection with 845 during pollen season while those who live in the snowbelt areas get 4-5 months with snow, road salt, etc. Is pollen that much stronger than snow and salt? I'm not doubting what you say, just curious.

    Dryer Pads/Sheets to Remove Bugs

I have used dryer sheets for years to remove the twice annual attack of "Love Bugs" here in Florida. They will remove any LSP from your vehicle but they clean like crazy. Just dip them into a bucket of water to get wet and scrub away. Now someone from California is going to pipe in and say that...

how many pads do I need????

One can never have enough pads. If your car is not too oxidized or marred you could get by with one each as most of us did when starting. But beware, pad buying can be addictive.

Fiberglass pool ring ... any advice?

Collinite 920 fiberglass cleaner works great on gel coat. I use it on boats and follow with Collinite 885. Very easy to use with a green LCC pad and the PC. Not sure how it stands up against chlorine. Be sure to read the label or call Collinite for health concerns. You may also want to check...

How to store your pads, so you don't get this?

Hey Camaro2010, same thing happened to me. All the suggestions above are great. After cleaning, you may not get 100% of the stain out but they will be usable again. As many have said before, don't close the bag.
