The heat gun and plastic razor worked to get the stripe off but not the glue. The Eucalyptus Oil did work however. Getting 3M stuff in Perth, Australia isn't easy especially on sunday as all the shops are closed.

Well i tried a few things a couple of different "Goo" removers which didn't do much, then i tried some Eucalyptus Oil and it worked a treat! And yeah i did a search but the stuff suggested either didn't work or i couldn't get any.

I have just removed some side stripes from my car, they came off the plastic bumpers and left no glue but on the metal panels all the glue stayed on the paint, just wondering what i can use to remove it? What would be the best way?
