Well i am going to be detailing a boat with light oxidation on the gel coat. How easy is it to screw up the gel coat useig a rotary with pads? Or wool? Please only responces from people who have experience with this... Im i in over my head? Id rather not take the job if there is a good...

Great reads on this thread... For my business i have basicaly made poor boys my stapel product of choice ... For polishes i use the ssr line and pro polish.... For sealent i use EX which i realy like the looks of for a sealent and for a caranuba i use natty blue..... These are my products of...

For old ink stains i use zipo lighter fluid and a match... Just kiding of course but i am intrested to see what people are useing on ink as well....

Ya i have a generator that i hook my pump up to as well.... I have a 100 gal tank... I did a full detail engine and all the other day on a big dodge truck ...( with lots of love bugs and dirt all over it ) i used about 40 gals for that one alone..... As for the pump i just use a simple bildge...

Hey Texstar i would recomed saveing some money and going on Discountanabolics.com rather than GNC I am a member of the forum over there and it is a great place to get diet, traneing suplement tips... And just about anything else you would like to know ... I highley recomend the forum for solid info

If you decide to go with a sealent i highley recomend poor boys EX .. I just used it for the first time on a black truck that i polished out last week... It looked very very very nice.... Nice and wet looking and man did that stuff come off easy... It was truely compareabel to a descent...

I am going to be doing a swirl removal on a canary yellow lambo next week... My question is how hard is the clear generaly on these cars... I have pb ssr1/ ssr2/ ssr2.5 ,pro polish and others the swirls can realy only be seen under artifical light so they are not bad at all.... I am thinking of...

square foot or linear.... ? so if you have a 32 foot boat on one side is that 64 ft for both sides x10 or is it just the 32 ft that you charge for?

Well i know that this said auto detailing section, but i dident see a boat section so here we go... I have been in and around the biz of doing exotic cars ... I am now being asked prety often if i could do a boat... Now i have never done a boat before and realy dont know where to start when it...

Thanks again budman... I placed my order and plan on takeing before and after pics, i will post them up with a fairley detailed log about what i thought about the process i used and what if anything would have made it go faster......

Thanks Budman for the reply... With the pro polish should i use a white pad? And is there a posability that the paint will trap itself in the pad and cause maring? Sorry for all the questions I just dont want to have to repaint any trucks....
