PB Natty's Blue left spotting on stainless steel?

I had never noticed it before at all until now. I may try the metal polish but wanted to get some opinions before I place another chemical on top of it. Yeah she isn't fully stock but close, 2.81 pulley on the eaton, magnaflow catback & upr CAI. The time it was on a dyno it was 482/475. So...

PB Natty's Blue left spotting on stainless steel?

So I pulled out my new 03 Cobra and gave it a good bath with my new Foam Gun and DP Extreme Foam, which by the way worked well. Just don't bother trying NST7 in it, it doesn't work well. Anyway the paint was already in mint conidition with lots of Zaino on it so I didn't feel the need to clean...

Would you consider gold/tan a dark paint?

I just might do that! My guess is that both would do better with the regular Natty's but the grey is "borderline". Thanks all!

Would you consider gold/tan a dark paint?

I was curious what the experts here think about gold colored paint. Is it a dark paint or light paint? I am curious because I used Nattys Blue on my old dark blue Mustang and it worked beautifully. Now I have a mineral grey (below) Cobra and my wife's car is a gold colored minivan (below)...

The results of my first detail with my new goodies

FWIW to the touch green does feel more abrasive and stiff than does orange. I think the color coding listed here is correct.

The results of my first detail with my new goodies

Yeah something tells me this is going to be quite the expensive little hobby. Next up is the foam gun, some more MFs, stoners glass, wheel cleaner and micro-restorer.

The results of my first detail with my new goodies

Yeah it is. I was almost sure that they wouldn't come out with the orange pade but after working that 360 in there the did come out. I still have some other individual scratches that I might want to use the green pad on next time. Thanks

The results of my first detail with my new goodies

It certainly was a fun experience and truth be told I am tired as hell and my knees and back are letting me know than I ain't that young anymore. Some thought on the clay having never done it before. I was expecting some decent resistance as I clayed my car but for the most part it glided...

The results of my first detail with my new goodies

About a 10 days ago I bought a PC and a bunch of goods from AG. I had never really done much with my cars other than a hose, dish soap and turtle wax by hand. My car for being 5 years old was in pretty decent shape, some swirls and light scrathed, a few chips from rocks and a previous owners...

    XMT 360 is here!

Sorry if this is a silly question but I am still looking to buy my first set of compound/polish/wax to go with my PC. WOuld this be a better option for a beginner than Optimum Compound, Poorboy EX-P and Poorboys Natty Paste Wax Blue?

New bie looking for some opinions

This might be a silly question but can I used Cobra MF detailing towels to dry my car? With the various packages I am looking at buying I will have several detailing towels. Rather than buying a $17 guzzler can I use those detailing towles that come with my kits? While I am not looking to be...

New bie looking for some opinions

Yeah just looking to do my car (and probably my wifes minivan after she sees mine). Now isn't a compound for more damaged paint? My car is a 02 and while I am not the first owner it really isn't in that bad of shape except for some areas where the previous owner tried to use touch up paint to...

New bie looking for some opinions

Sorry I don't know all the acronyms yet, what is 4* UPP? Also I gave some serious consideration on the Pinnacle Clay but after reading a bunch of threads it seemed as though the Pinnacle is better for those cars who get clayed on a regular basis. I was thinking to get a more "hardy" clay since...

New bie looking for some opinions

Hello all, I am obviously new to this forum and to detailing as well so I wanted to see if I could get some opinions on this "package" of products I have in my shopping cart. To give you a little background I am like many who thought dish soap and good old turtle wax 1-2 times a year by hand...
