    Equipment/Supplies Order

There's nothing like the thrill of your first big order when you get into detailing. Back in the day I remember my first order was a PC 7424, CCS pads, KAIO and some DP clay. I thought I was in the big leagues when the package arrived! You set yourself up with a very nice starter package. Hope...

Flagged tip brush to apply HD to tires.

I didn't believe it till Eldo turned me on to this method. I have very limited time and I was amazed at the time savings vs 2BM. Less chance of marring too as each time you're not dealing with a mitt that was exposed to dirt.

Flagged tip brush to apply HD to tires.

Nope. Not too long at all. I enjoy reading everything you post and have picked up a number of great tips (mulitple mitts, flagged tip brush, to name a few ). Thanks again for all of your contributions on this forum and I look forward to your future posts.:dblthumb2:

Pictures of a 6" Maroon Uro-tec pad after 25-30 uses!

Have you found that this pad will still perform well when it gets to the condition in your picture?

Flagged tip brush to apply HD to tires.

I just recently bought the SM Arnold brush and it looks to be identical to the first two pics of yours. Life hasn't been the same since you turned me on to this brush for applying dressing. Thanks, Eldo!!

Clay towel at the end of its life?

Eldorado 2k - my clay towel use to dry me nuts with with the clay part sticking to itself. I'm going to buy a clay mitt soon, but I found a process that works for me: - rinse clay towel after using - hang by loop to dry - put a piece of parchment paper on the clay side and roll the towel up...

    LSN Autodetailing - 2003 Porshe 911 (996) Bi-Turbo: LOTS of PICS - Major transformation

Absolutely amazing work!. It was still pretty hot here this past weekend so even more impressive you pulled off a difficult, 2 day job in the heat.

New here... reading done... advise needed

I totally agree with the above, especially with this machine. To take it one step further, I would get the Griots vented backing plate.

    Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Pads

I haven't had a lot of time with them yet, but yes, they certainly last longer. I fried my Megs MF pads on the long throw in a very short period of time. Granted, they were older pads so hard to say if the newer ones have stronger velcro. This past weekend I ran my uro-fibers pretty hard for an...

    Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Pads

I'm loving these pads! I one stepped my Grand Cherokee this weekend with Poorboys Polish with Carnuaba Blue. Paint color is metallic granite. Amazing results. I was not trying to achieve a full correction cycle but rather a way to do a quick cleanup on a DD with nice results. Produced better...

    Pads for Griots 6" Da

Good Morning Ken- Can't go wrong with Waxmaster's recommendation. I just bought some for my long-throw but haven't had time to road test them yet. On my GG6 I've had good luck with: - GG 5" vented backing plate - LC ThinPro 5.5". Orange, White and Black would be more than adequate. These pads...

    2011 Dodge Ram

Great cleanup job! I know what you mean about the handle on that brush. I have that brush and after the first use went to HD and bought a better telescoping handle. So, a good interior cleaning was able to get rid of the smoke smell?

2014 Grand Cherokee Uro-Fiber AIO cleanup with PB PWC Blue – Wow!

A member over on Autopia coached me up on this new combo as I have never used any of the PB line. He answered my endless questions and I am beyond pleased with the results. I wanted something effective and quick to clean up my Jeep that I use for business. I have very little time these days so...

    Pad Cleaners

There was actual nasty residue. Yes, I did throw them in "as is" and we're talking pads that been worked out hard with a full correcting cycle. I was actually cleaning out the tub when she saw me. This was back in the day when I first started detailing. For me, if I am going to take the time...

Frustrated - My order today is a MESS!!

Glad to hear they called you. After trying to recover and play catch-up from being shut down due to the hurricane, I am not surprised there are some errors. Occasional errors in any industry are typical, what's NOT typical is how AG responds to their errors----they go above and beyond the call...

    Pad Cleaners

If I just have a few pads I will spray with pad cleaner ( currently McKees or PB Tornado), massage in with my fingers and rinse under the sink. Squeeze water out and lay pad velcro side up on rack in my garage. If I have a lot of pads: - throw them in bucket of Snappy Clean. I squeeze them in...
