Has any one used the Wenol polishes?

Even thew blue is still too agressive, as is the new WG Metalwerks. I have a polished aluminum frame and tried a very little bit of the blue Wenol and on a seperate occasion, tried the WG Metalwerk, both left light holograms. I'm stumped on what to do that really works by hand. I did...

How do you guys remove wax's and sealants that are on the car?

for the record, if you did want to remove everything and you were NOT polishing, the best cleanser to use is Zymol's HD Cleanse or Pinnacles Paintwork Cleansing Lotion. like the others said, the process of polishing will remove EVERYTHING.

QD Then Apply Wax Or Sealant

Which QD did you use? If you used a QD that has any carnauba in it whatsoever, you won't be able to use a sealant. You can go ahead with a wax either way.

    Why Glaze!!! Not Needed

well, i personally love glazes. the more wax, the better the imperfections stick out. the glazes has fillers to conceal some of the deeper imperfections, of which is then sealed and wazed to extened durability. so, its not the case of it lasting, it will last as long as your sealant or wax...

What exactly is a compound compared to a diminishing abrasive?

in a nut shell, its a matter of working the product in on speed 5 for a DA ad bumping up to speed 6 with a faster movement. this rounds the edges and smoothes everything out.

What exactly is a compound compared to a diminishing abrasive?

Al is dead on.... the nice thing, actually, about diminishing abrasives is that you can work them out into finishing polishes, all of them. with the correct pattern and method, i made xmt4 and an orange pad finist out like xmt1 with a white on a 05 645ci that someone took TW Rubbing Compound...

CCS orange pad+xmt 3 on these swirls?

youll know because when the lights hit it, you will see very fine hairline marks in all directions, not swirls. either way, your current plan of action will be perfect, one of which I would mimic exactly for myself. youre going to be very happy with the results.

CCS orange pad+xmt 3 on these swirls?

well, in all honesty, xmt2 and an orange will take way too long when he can just get what he needs out of something more abbrasive. if it were me, i would start with xmt3 and an orange and/or yellow. then begin backing down to take out the marring. even with 2 steps, it will be significantly...
