My trim doesn't appear oxidized, except for the step on the rear bumper. This was actually the first time I have tried applying anything to the trim, as I've only had the vehicle for 1 month, but I bought it used and its only a 2014. I like the magic eraser idea.

Hmmm, a lot of good advice in here and a lot to think about. I like the sound of using a clean prep, or the all wax & grease remover. I'll update with what I use and the results. I might try a few things to experiment. Thanks, everyone!
