I love these towels for the money. Why do you suggest washing before use? Is that *really* necessary? Honest question because I'm just lazy and have a bag of new ones in my garage right now. lol

Yes. Its durability isn’t the best but it’s so easy to apply, that it’s an acceptable trade off for me.

My car was rained on the day before. This pic is of a car with Bead Maker on it, the day after being rained on. When I walked up to it, I was surprised at how 'clean' it looked. Up close, you'd see that it was perfectly clean, but Bead Maker sure helped it stay cleaner after rain. Washed it...

Hmm. Not sure why. One thread was regarding my overall first time to full detail with my DA on this car. I mentioned the paint in there, but it wasn't a focus? Maybe that's the confusion. Sorry.

It took me some time to get over the 'fear' of using the DA after years of doing things by hand or paying someone to do it. Weather this weekend in Houston sucks, but I got a window with no rain to give it a good wash, then pull into the garage for the rest. Tools and supplies: Purple Power...
