    i think it can be done. i have restored worse than that with one step this is a toyota corolla 2000, neglected, repainted and heavy oxidized used a rupes mark III 15mm, yellow rupes pad and sonax perfect finish :xyxthumbs:

    Thats true Mike. Rupes system is a class by its own. No matter what i try to change i keep turning into the Sytem.

    i have worked on a benz A140 daily driver. never polished. never repainted. started to make some test spots. nothing seem to worked. but when i changed my rupes combination .. BOOM.. for my one step correction 70-80% of defects started to fade away. I was trying the rupes system by the book...

    man, you are doin great job out there. saw your youtube channel and the cars. by the way. i have an spta 75mm 3" polisher. good enough someguys saying " i sold rupes when i got flex pxe" do you recommend the deluxe kit (already have the rupes mark III kit) or buy ibrid alone?

    so why many people use MF finishing pads with one step products like D166 for example? i suppose the yellow rupes pads ( ihave plenty of them) seal the deal in most cases. what AIO in your opinion is an all around best?

    so, ROTARY IS the better option ( like flex xfe15 or pe14-2 ) for overall CORRECTION. Followed by ORBITAL for POLISHING. Any MICRO TOOL will be used for better edging, except if i master the rotary with any extension and small backing plate. But MY SENSE right now telling me to buy a flex...

    already have these in my arsenal. thanks for pad info.what about wool pads on a DA like rupes' wool pad? also what do you suggest? to invest in a nano polisher or pxe or instead go for a rotary or forced rotation...or just stay with the DA for corection?
