    Paint Wax Remover Spray?

There's always a panel prep wipe that's paint safe if you feel the need to strip first. Sent from my SM-G950U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Covers for backseat vents?

I found some online from a vendor but it would be more than I need. I'll just find an installer near me and buy some scrap pieces or just the few feet I'll need from them Sent from my SM-G950U using Autogeekonline mobile app

Discerning Paint Chip Touch-Up; Not for Everyone or Every Chip

I suppose I should have elaborated a bit more. I chose the similar method to the OP due to cost. It was cheaper for me to buy touch-up paint and gently fill the chips with the touch-up than it was to buy a Dr. Colorchip set for a 10 year old car (I'm great shape) but I'm trying to save money...

Discerning Paint Chip Touch-Up; Not for Everyone or Every Chip

One tip I found from Larry at Ammo was to put carnuba around the chips and clean inside the chips (I use sandpaper attached to a pencil eraser) then use an IPA dabbed in the chip. The carnuba prevents the paint from sticking outside the chip. It's a PIA and adds more time to an already time...

    Covers for backseat vents?

Make him walk? [emoji28] I second the PPF idea on the interior console. I may do that in my car as I have a 2 year old (may as well get ahead of the curve). Sent from my SM-G950U using Autogeekonline mobile app

Stubborn rims, do I need an iron remover?

I have a 2010 Ford Edge with the same wheels and similar environment (BG, Oh). I used Meguiars Hot Rims agitated with my wheel brush then immediately rinsed off with my Pressure Washer to remove any remaining acid then followed up by the Meguiars Non Acid wheel and tire cleaner and that got rid...

    Embedded Hair

I go very gentle with it and watch the seat fibers for abrasion. I agree though, it can be rough and I wouldn't use it on more delicate seats. It's definitely an aggressive approach vs the rubber tools (which I'm adding to my arsonal) Sent from my SM-G950U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Embedded Hair

I want into this challenge thinking the nitrile gloves in the Stonewood cut it, but it didn't. The hairs were literally poked into the fabric. The gloves did make it so I could pluck them out though at least Sent from my SM-G950U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Embedded Hair

So, a solution has been had! We tested using a rubber based hair removal tool by taking a rubber squeeze ball (like the stress balls where you can make it bulge a ton) and wiping the seat down with it. This pulled at least 90% of the hairs out. I'll be ordering the rubber hair removers because...

    Embedded Hair

Tony, I'm glad I wear gloves cause that made picking them out easy but sadly brushing the hairs with my hand was not sufficient. The rubber should be the winner for this situation. Sent from my SM-G950U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Embedded Hair

Hey everybody, I'm detailing the interior of a Dodge Dart today. The cloth seats seem to have the hair, both cat and human, stuck into them, almost like a needle point. Does anybody have any tips on how to easily remove these, I'm just picking them out one by one after vacuuming up the loose...

    Forum activity

Another gripe about Facebook is accessing the information is worthless. You pretty much have to ask a question again rather than look it up in a search. I like how AGO has great information without all the bad. For example, I saw people suggesting on FB that someone use laquor thinner on leather...
