    Snow/Ice adhesion on coated cars

So this will be my first winter with a coated car and I'm curious as to easily snow and ice will 'release' from the paint that has been coasted. We don't get tons of snow and ice but enough to like to know what to expect. Subject: 09 Honda Element (Hood, Roof and back section only. Keeping...

    For those that have coatings

I coated a coupe months ago the hood, roof and back of my 09 Honda Element using Durogloss Enviroshield. I maintain the hood and back with Ech2o. Probably in the next month or two I'll break out the reload. With the price tag of the stuff I'm a little gun shy about pulling that trigger...

Review: Poorboy's World Spray & Rinse No Touch Wheel Cleaner

Got a reply (very quickly actually) from PBW. You can in fact dilute the product 4:1 if necessary. Below is a copy of the conclusion to the email that was sent: "Long story short, Spray & Rinse should be used full strength for neglected wheels and is dilutable for well-maintained wheels. The...

Nothing on the label. When I wrote the 'review' I didn't know WB could be diluted as I have never laid hands on the product. Might email the PB folks to see what their 'official' answer might be.

    Portable detailing kit

Hello folks, Looking for suggestions on putting together a 'long weekend' car maintenance kit. Any pictures are welcome I find the 'big' 16oz bottles are to big to just 'throw' in the back, the little $1 spray bottles are to big for any plastic box I've found at walmart (at least standing up...

Review: Poorboy's World Spray & Rinse No Touch Wheel Cleaner

Per the manufacture - no, no harm should be done. I'm not really sure how acidic it really is. I'm going to check tomorrow if one of our labs have a ph meter so I can measure it. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

Review: Poorboy's World Spray & Rinse No Touch Wheel Cleaner

For how bad these wheels were, the spray and rinse part worked real well. I didn't put any more product on when i scrub them, just a squirt or two of APC and they were 'good to go".

Let's see if Solution Finish will hold up

I agree Paul A. I have not dismissed anybodies ideas or suggestions, but for this go around I'm going single coat with nothing on top. I hope to remember to take pictures at probably 30, 60 and 90 days out. So far, one week out, I'm really liking it. Both prep and application was a breeze...
