I've used 845 on the paint a couple times on various cars. I must say it does last a good long time. It's easy to apply and just as easy to removed as long as you apply it thin. I don't get why folks classify it as a great winter wax, if it's that good wouldn't it be good year round? hahha.

You are correct, it's not going to last like putting something on the paint. But it should last "way longer" then a week. Again some of that verbiage is also to make you run through more product then you really need hence possibly increasing their sales.

Duragloss is some good stuff. I use their 901 all the time. I also use their "NuGlass" glass polish and sometimes the rain repellant. Lots of people here use the 901 product with great success. If your going to get Duragloss products I'd suggest ordering it direct from them or picking it up...

Like said above, do a test spot. If there was going to be a problem the manufacturer would have put a warning on the bottle not to use it on a given surface.

Look up on Youtube on how to use the ONR type products. There are tons of video's posted. Some even by Autogeek.com. Just my $0.02 I would place some ONR type product in a spray bottle of some sort and presoak the panel your working on to get as much of the salt into a liquid form before...

I like it, as I have all of the other PBW products I've purchased, seems comparable to the Optimum product and you get twice as much product for about the same price.

It might, wax as such isn't very durable anyway. I'd proceed and just rewax if you think it needs it.
