    Opti-coat 2.0 question

I just applied it to a black Infiniti g35 (softest clear I have ever worked with). Really not much different to use than Optiseal. Hoping it will help with micro marring, but we will see.

    Colonite 845

The Collinite products have been around for a long time, and are excellent "old school" waxes. They give great results if applied properly, and wear like very few others. I have never had any problems with any of them. In fact, they sometimes make me wonder why I keep looking for a better...

Best pop, deep and wet shine on a budget?

There are alot of good waxes out there that are less than 50$. I have had nothing but good experiences with the Collinites(845, 476, and 915), from just above freezing(845) to high 90s temp wise. And AGHD is great on dark colors. Just apply thin and wipe off after a couple of panels with a good...

    col 845

Or transfer it to a squeeze bottle( like AG sells). These bottles are also great for polishes, OPS, etc. You can dispense small droplets, or thin beads of material.

    mf towels

I have tried alot of towels for cleaning glass(microfiber), and even the age old newspaper. By far the best towels I have ever used are surgical towels(called "huck" towels by some). They are used in hospitals for procedures, and are available from medical supply stores, or if you are lucky...

    Why zanio

Now, now, no need to slam corvette owners. I have a couple( and FoMoCo, and Mopar), and don't use Zaino, and do polish/correct the defects in my paint. Some forums tend to favor certain product lines, or at least the most "vocal" members do. There are so many great products out there, as well as...

    temp for waxing

I've used 845 and OCW below freezing, in the sun. Even OCW gets pretty thick when cold, but worked well.

    Chipped Keys

You may want to call a locksmith. I had the same problem with a "chipped" GM key (Corvette), the dealer quoted 125$ plus a charge to determine the resistance code. The locksmith charged me 18$ per key, and told me what the code was. I got a couple of spares.

    Porter Cable Swirls??

The orange pad(if LC orange) is a bit harsh for a finish pad. You may want to try the poliseal with a white or black pad. They usually finish pretty well for me, particularly the black one.

    Porter Cable Swirls??

Poliseal is pretty gentle on paint. I have had "pseudo hologam" issues with multiple coats of 476, and these resolved easily with an application of OCW. You may want to try it.

    Cobra Indigo Towel Resolution

As usual, a great, and rapid response from customer service at AG. After the "shamrock scandal" last year, I was able to pick up some OUTSTANDING "green special purchase" towels on clearance, and BOGO. They are superb towels and my go to for WW and QD. I'm sorry that some have had problems with...

What to use on the trim???

Some sealants work very well IME (eg KSG, Colli 845), particularly if you are using them for the paint already.

    Look what Ebay sent me

I have been interrested in this product as well. You can get it now for 12.99 with free shipping. I had to try it as there have been so many positive reviews. Is it any better than 845 or 476(as far as looks or durability)?

    4oz sample bottles

Target has an assortment of small spray bottles (including 5oz trigger spray type) in the pharmacy/travel area for about a buck. They are great for qd and sw. They also have flip type bottles.

    Forever Black tire gel

I have used it over the last year. It is a thick black gel, and is very good if you want your tires to look new(dark, satin black- not shiney), which is what I prefer, particularly on SUV, van, and truck tires. It has great durability, lasting 2-3 mo. IME. Try applying it with a cheap foam...
