Those tree branch scratches are fairly deep. If that truck came to me, I would use M100 or Menzerna Fg400. Fg400 can work for a good amount of time. If you decide to use what you already have, you can try misting the panel with a pad primer solution. That may help with the dusting.

Better to ask than make a mistake. You have the steps correct. If you think your paint is already in good condition, then you may only apply the M#7 once or twice. It isn't set in stone.

Fabric guard is my favorite so far. I'd like to try out trim restorer and protectant. I'm always looking for a different trim restorer to try other than coatings that I've used in the past. I agree to do a full review and a long term follow up review if needed.

I've used CG Matte detail spray on a number of matte black Harley's and one two tone which had a dark green tint. I've used a lot of products from CG in my early learning days and the matte sealant is something I'd use again. It gives matte paint that clean sheen look and not glossy.

This is good info. From what I've read, I was under the impression that the cleansing lotion was similar to an IPA wipe down, but now I know it's an either/or product....And my wife thinks I spend too much time on detailing forums. Pish posh, learned something new.

The cleansing lotion chemically cleans the paint before applying your wax, sealant, or coating. This assures it's adhering to bare paint and not the oils left behind from polishing. For this reason it would go after any polishing and before your LSP (paint protection).
