After years of fighting with "kinkless hoses", thought I would try something else. Bought a plain black rubber hose, made by Goodyear. Used it for about 4 months now, and it works great. About $20 at HD. Only a 50', but it serves my needs.

Same here. I have good luck with a nice clean mf towel and Stoners IG. Going to try some Megs Glass Cleaner soon since I hear good things about it.

Megs Gold Class gets my vote. Tried a lot of other products, but Megs is definitely my go to product. The "other" brands are used on wheel wells, etc.

I like Stoners, using a MF towel. Had great results.

I have had excellent results with Meguiar's Gold Class car wash. It has good lubricity and does a good job of cleaning. It is now the main car wash in my arsenal. I do use the cheaper stuff for wheel wells, tires, etc.

I have a Karcher 1740 psi washer. On vehicles, I only use it for cleaning wheel wells, etc., even though it has an adjustable nozzle. I just have an aversion to using it on the paint. I am an old fashioned 2 bucket method kind of guy when it comes to washing. Of course I do not detail...
