    Samples?

PERL works awesome. I've used it at 1:3 on plastic trims and it looks awesome after 2 application. 2 is good enough for me to not want to do 3.

    pad completely dry before use?

Well, answer from my experience, not good. Wait till its completely dried. I used it after once day of washing. Pad did not have the stiffness of when it is completely dried and after the first pass, the pad had very little cut.

    Is this Optimum Poli-Seal???

I honestly thought it would cut as much if not more/better than d151. I guess it is more of a decent sealant with VERY light correction ability? I'm not for sure, but i think i have read somewhere about using d151, before wiping off residue, apply poly-seal over??? If not, im not sure if i...

    Is this Optimum Poli-Seal???

well, after another try, less product (3 lines), no haze, but very little correction. I thought it was suppose to be more aggressive than d151 (which is more aggressive than m205). I guess i will have to tape up to car and do m205.

    Is this Optimum Poli-Seal???

Too much product? Primed the pad and then used it. Should i not prime the pad? Ill try it again with a different white pad and less product. Doing it right now. Multi tasking between ago and polishing.

    Is this Optimum Poli-Seal???

So i decided to use the poli-seal i got from a trade. Im not putting down the person i traded with. I tested it on two different cars and got the same results. Blurry haze with very little if any correction. Extremely hard to remove haze. Hard even with ipa. I know poli-seal has gotten A...

    pad completely dry before use?

Thanks for the reply Bob. I've read the article and i do clean on the fly and dry using the microfiber towel method. I have 3 pads of each color (orange, white, and black). I just finished detailing one car and got another one to do. I washed it and dried it the way Mike does in the article...

    pad completely dry before use?

Will try it tomorrow. From my experience, the pads don't air dry within a day, that is why i ask. Will try them out tomorrow. Thanks guys!

1st Detail, What do you think?

I think 5 would sound about right for the number of pads. I have 3 of each, and i think 4 or 5 would be the right amount of pad to use on sedans and larger vehicles. OP, looks great!

    pad completely dry before use?

I wouldn't think so as the softness/hardness of the pads differ between wet and dry (or at least in my opinion). So as the title states, is it okay to use damp/not completely dry pads? I hear a lot about pads being destroyed because the backside of the pads that stick to the BP was not dry...

Has anybody here used Hybrid V7 over Blacklight

Continuing on....v7 does literally make it glow. Glossy in a way. But I prefer xmt 360 which gives it a cleaner more crisp/clean reflection than a glossy glow or v7. After 2 use, I'm giving up the combo for bfwd for comparison. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
