hey guys so i am about to order some new pads i think i am going to go with the hexlogic...question is i have a 5 inch backing plate on a DA machiene what size pads you think i should go with 5 and 1/2 inch or 6 and 1/2 inch???

ok i am not using the pad (the one i cant get clean) with any product but when i clean it seems like its clean but when it dries u can see some dried wax on it some one had told me this dried wax can cause scratches the next time i use the pad

hey guys i got 1 more question for every one... i tried to was a couple pads by hand most came out ok but the black finnesing pad still has wax on it i did it twice with warm water and dawn soap...is there any tricks or any specific type of spray or cleaner that will get the wax and polish...

when you say 2 line are very difference? is it just the open cell foam and closed cell foam? what does that mean open or closed? idk what that would mean (open or closed) i am still new to DA polishing and pads? what the difference ? do they have different results or are they used for different...

did some reading it is BUFLC not BUFX sorry and they are made by lake county i guess sold on chem guys site .....they dont say ccs but looks the same my questions about the differences still stand tho

just found chem. guys also has a pad i think they call it BUFX but visually looks like a lake county CCS pad ...this is one thing i am tring to fig. out does the pattern on the face wether its the ccs or BUFX "dots" or the hexagon pattern make a difference are they used for diff. things

do they have to be washed by hand or can they go in machiene is that why you said adheasive better?

so i am looking to get a set of pads. i have heard of good things about both CCS from lake county mfg. and also hexlogic from chemical guys. has any one ever used them are they basicly the same (hexagon pateren vs the CCS dots) or are they used for different things???? lets take a vote also any...

hey sooo this might be a stupid question but i am new to DA machines...so what i am wondering is i have a meguiars 8 inch buff pad (i have the burgundy cutting and the tan finishing) 8 inches is a lil big for what i am trying to do the 6 1/2 fit a lil beter but i think 6 or 5 1/2 would be even...

yeh its a velcro plate...also a 2013 chevy equinox, 2010 toyota corola, and a older ford truck (not sure of year probily somewhere around 1997 and not sure model either off top of my head but it is very small probilly one of the smallest trucks made by ford).....i was watching a video on you...

hey guys so i am pritty new to using DA polishers....i got one in auto zone for about $150 made by shurhold...i actually didnt buy it for a car. i coat tables and other type of furniture with epoxy glaze (if you never seen it basically ever see a bar top that has a real real thick clear coat...
