    1992 Jeep Cherokee

Looks great! :applause: How'd the Metabo perform? One thing Nica, a little too much product. Two quarter sized dots on the pad is about all you need.

    XMT 4 Vs OC

Well by using #3, you're adding some oils that #3 has, and thus making your working time longer. With a longer working time, you can really get to the bottom of swirls you're after. I actually break out Meg's #3 for this purpose... the product is all oils, and allows for even longer working times.

It tells you on the product page.

    XMT 4 Vs OC

Do you have XMT 3? If so, add one pea sized drop on the pad, with 2 pea sized drops of OC on a yellow pad. You use #3 for the extra working time to remove the scratch/swirl.

What is the difference between Meg's #5 and #7?

Don't wipe like you normally would a wax. Wipe up and down, side to side (left to right), and in circles (clock-wise). The wipe down and up, side to side (right to left), and in circles (counter-clock-wise). Just don't wipe side to side, like when removing a wax. Removing #7 really gives it...

    Teaser: Chevy Mali"boo"

Be very careful on those spots where clear coat looks to be failed, and the areas around it. You have to hand polish those areas, or else risk loosing the CC for sure. Looks like a tough job, and something I would LOVE to do. I'm working on a 2006 MB E350 at the moment, and man it's been a...

    XMT 4 Vs OC

#4 is even more aggressive than OHC, and the most aggressive polish/compound AG sells; so let that tell you something. OC is more than enough powerful to cut through water spots and oxidation. I have had real good luck with OC and sometimes OC/#83. Second, up the pad to the YELLOW pad...

    Souveran paste and liquid diffrance

It really depends on your views of the product. I will say its worth the extra bucks for Souveran paste. I really like it, goes on super easy and is a WOWO (wipe on-wipe off). I have used LS as well, and even on white there is a difference between paste and liquid. In order, IMO of Pinnacle...

What is the difference between Meg's #5 and #7?

I have #3... it's alright. Maybe because my car is white.. you should have better luck with red.

You answered your own question.. :)

What is the difference between Meg's #5 and #7?

#7 has a non-drying oil makeup. The reason it can do this is because it is a non-drying oil. Think about it, when you get a brand new paint job, or if you spray some rattle can paint before it dries it looks wet, because it is. You want to apply #7 by hand, not machine. #3 Machine Glaze is...

    New Product- XMT 360

Yes you can use the green pad, nothing higher. Either the blue, gray or green. No need to top it with anything else, but you're more than welcome to use any wax of your choice.. :)

    New Product- XMT 360

Would try blue, black, and white. It's not very pad dependant, so I wouldn't use an aggressive pad.

What is the difference between Meg's #5 and #7?

Even stumped me, and I rarely get stumped... I am going to take an educated guess and say its the same makeup, except one or two properties, thus giving the edge to #7. Pretty close to #3 as well..

What to use between car washes?

What products do you have? I like QS, and have been toying with 1oz spray Souveran, 10oz QS for that added pop. DP's FG detailer is hands down the best for the money.. $10 for 32oz. You simply can't beat it! It's the best smelling product I've ever used, and the gloss and depth is really nice...
