What to use to clean "Emblam"

I cannot seem to find any useful info on how to clean and restore the emblam on the front and rear of a specific car. What I am reffering to is the silver, plastic (?), emblam a car maker puts on there vehicle ie: NISSAN, TOYOTA, HONDA emblams on the front of the hood and on the back of the...

    Stubborn Tree Sap

Yeah, its pine sap and it is hardened to a stone. Thought PBs Bug Squash would eliminate it but it just laughed at that. Going to try the 90/10 alcohol method. And if that works calling a company out to cut this useless pine tree down piece by piece. Florida, gotta love pine trees. :( If its not...

    Stubborn Tree Sap

What can I do to get stubborn tree sap off my car? I have tried PB's tree sap twice even undiluted with no success. This stuff is like cement and will not go away. I have heard soaking a MF towel in alcohol and laying it over the spot. What will get this off without damageing my CC?

    Interior Scents

Have heard Oziums New Car Smell is good for the smell of the interior of a freshly detailed car. I believe that the scent of a detailed car is also an important step in the detailing process. What do you guys use to make your car stand alone as far as scent? I used Fuzion Wax for my first time...

    Duragloss Process??

So if using the DG 501 one would not need a 'pre-cleaner'? Is the 501 more effective than say Pinnacle pre-cleaner? Oh, and on a side not, Emile says earlier in this thread that the DG 105 "looks like ass" next to the Z-AIO. I just completed the full DG process (501, 601, 105) and I am amazed at...

Spring is just around the corner (pollen)

What is it with pollen and cars?? Literally in one hour your perfectly detailed car is covered. Nothing like spending 6 hours detailing to wake up the next day covered. You mean no chemist has come up with a pollen repellent?? I guess its called a garage. Seriously considering a high end car...

What do I need to do this job right?

You can afford a truck like that and your willing to take 'overnight' answers on how to polish? My car is worth half that and I am still not read to take that on. If you can afford a truck like that why not have a professional do it? Are you really gonna take some overnight advice on something...

    Help...Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

I am deffinately no expert or chemist but it sounds like your product is broken. How can you possibly get consistency if you have 2 parts?? Looks like it did not emulsify during the manufacturing process or experienced a tramatic increase/decrease in temperature that forced it to separate...

    Antistatic spray

Produced a noticable 'anti-static' quality but not 100% 'anti-static'. Just reduced the amount of magnetism my clear coat produced. Still have to dust every morning. Just not as much as before. Deffinately love the FK1 425 though. Very nice high gloss.

    Fk1 425 question

Here is the exact quote from the site I read it from: Re: fk1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RTexasF, I thought the same when I first used their car wash. The watery consistency was not expected and I think I've experienced soaps with a bit...

    Claying process...quick question

Then would you wash car again after the clay? I deffinately would not want to have to dry car twice. Just wasn't sure if claying on a vehicle that had just been rinsed was a good idea. I want to do this right but at the same time not waste valuable time doing a step twice. I think the best way...

    Claying process...quick question

Have seen various tips on claying. One says to wash, dry, clay, and then wash/dry again. Another says wash, "don't" dry, clay using the water and also a clay lubricant, wash again and dry. ANd the last says wash, dry, clay then go directly on to the cleaner. The last one sounds like the best way...

    Cure time on Fuzion?

Want to finish with the Fuzion wax and was wondering if there was a cure time or if I can just go right on to the second coat. Thanks

    Fk1 425 question

Just thought that information was very questionable so thats why I brought it here. Actually just getting home and my fed ex pack with my FK1 425 is here. The directions on the bottle say: "use a clean microfiber cloth folded in quarters, wipe clean. Turn to a dry portion for final wipe." Looks...

    Fk1 425 question

Just read on another site that you just hit each panel with a couple light sprays and let it eveaporate off. He said you do not wipe it and buff it off like other QD as this is gross mis use of the product. Is this true? Just a couple quick sprays and let it evaporate? Thinking about trying the...

    Reccomendations: Fuzion Wax

Oh, I am deffinately posting my before and after. My paint gets seconds looks now and I have been using TW Synthetic Ice because I didn't know any better. Last week used my DG 901 shampoo for the first time and finished with the AW and couldn't believe the difference. Got the digital camera...
