    how to ease my nerves

Checklists for every detail package you have, then after the detail do one or two little things extra, and put at the end of the checklist. Then you know you did your work plus it's nice to give that to customers.

What is your definition production work & high end work

For me personally I have a system where clients pay by the hour for high end work, as soon as it switches from a set price to per hour, I consider that high end work. This corresponds with better polishes and waxes / sealants. For me personally, I don't think that high end work has anything to...

Got a new steamer and need some help

This in vinyl, I feel your pain I had to do this to a bmw e30 as well! This stuff is impossible to get the dirt out, what I would do is take them out, four bolts, steam clean all of them and re-dye them.

    Cars Paint Hardness

I got to disagree with this, like a few people are saying depending on the year, model and paint all from the same make can be drastically different! I work on a lot of Porsche's and it has very varying degrees, especially 1950's paint to modern 911's paint, very different. Its hard to list...

    Undercarriage washing

Ok so I am going to make an undercarriage washer set up and would like your guys advice. Right now I am using one of these: It's a water broom with four jets and it's good at getting off loose dirt and such but not very good at getting off caked on grime. What I am going to do is get a...

Buffing around window shield washer nozzle

Ok I am doing a major correction on a 1980s porsche with single stage paint. I rather not have to take off the window shield washer nozzles on the hood. So I have taped them up and tried edging them with a 3m wool compound pad and some compound. It seems not to be working, any suggestions? I...
